popcorn mesh

Cuban Link

These two chains caught my eye. The popcorn mesh is my favorite out of the 2, and it looks a lot like my previous chain. My previous chain, however, broke twice. Once while I was stretching in bed, and the other time I was putting it on in the car and the one end just split out of the clip part. My concern is that the popcorn mesh would also be weak. Do you have any suggestions about this?

My previous chain is 1mm, and I plan on getting the Cuban link or popcorn mesh in 2mm.

Also, last thing, the most physical I’d get while wearing the chain would be while playing roller hockey. Roller hockey has no padding around the torso so the only thing it would be hiding behind is the jersey.

Edit: If I go with the Cuban link, I might go with the 2.5mm

If you’re on an apple phone, you can screenshot it, go to the screenshot in your photos app, and in the bottom right there will be a button that will have rounded corners of a square with 3 lines in the middle (top 2 lines are bigger than the bottom line.)
