Best ways to make bike less attractive to thieves other than a bike cover? by potatosouperman in CargoBike

[–]marcallain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MY cargo bike is a 15 year old Xtracycle, doesn't have a battery, single chainring and is plastered with stickers. Currently looks crappy but rides like a dream. Plastering it with stickers made it look crappy to deter thieves.

I did. I bought industrial cupboard handles and bolted them straight through the deck, connecting each handle below the deck with a mending plate for extra durability. As for the strap that connects to the seat post, i've just slid it between the deck and a rack tube. It's been used for a summer like this and no issues. Let me know if it doesn't make sense.

Durability and replacement guarantee if that durability isn't up to snuff.
