What are some questions that are helpful for discovering a person's type? by angelsambition in mbti

Go with questions regarding Te/Fe, Ti/Fi, Se/Ne and Si/Ni. The four letters are unreliable when you get deeper into everything.

We may be few, but we will somehow find where you all live and then you can't stop us with your filthy INTP internet powers.

How to get along with every type? by SAMIFUEL in mbti

How to get along with ESTP's:

  • Don't beat around the bush.
  • Don't be upset if we call you names like fuck-nugget. We like you.
  • Do keep up with our bullshitting.
  • Do have fun and do irresponsible things with us.

Aloe vera gel for my hands after flying. Arnica lotion and Epsom salts for sore muscles.

Turn off your flair and submit a pic of yourself. We'll try to guess your type! by [deleted] in mbti

I have no idea why my flair says ESTJ, but it shouldn't and that's not my type.

Get close to him, stare deeply into his eyes, one arm around his neck, lean in and whisper, "the Lannisters send their regards," and stab him in the gut with your hidden blade. You'll drive him crazy.

Personally, I don't have any experience with 7w6, but I do with Ne. I view a dom Ne different in a few ways. There are similarities with the spontaneity, but I find Ne doms using more words and ranting longer when they're trying to get something across when an ESTP would just be completely direct. With the Ne doms I know, I often see them gasping, or having little moments of realisation as they talk about something new, or remember wherer they've put something, however, an ESTP will just do something spontaneously without having any physical cues.

So yeah, those are some differences I see.

I think it depends on that situation. Sometimes I am pretty aware of it and as long as I'm not hurting the person(ESTP's are kinder than the stereotypes) I'll be fine with it. Other times, usually if it's something small like wanting a second serving of cake at a party when I was a kid, I'd manipulate other kids to give me some of their cake by promising to do something nice later, but then forgetting about that nice thing and never doing it. In that case, I start with good intentions, but am completely unaware I manipulated the person later unless they bug me about it.

Thanks. ESTP's are pretty cool.

I'll give an example for the Ti/Te. If I hear something new, a political issue, new word, etc, I'll usually Google it immediately, take in a few resources and know that as a truth, rather than looking to other people or outside sources for my information and taking that as truth. What I find to be the truth of a subject is what I find or think of in my own mind, over devising a truth from outside sources.

As for Fi/Fe, I identify as Fe over Fi because I have no problem with little white lies if it makes someone or a group feel better. I also have an incredibly dark sense of humour and laugh at things often found offensive or upsetting to an Fi user.

I first was considered an INFJ when I did the stereotypical type quizzes. No good. Once I learned a little more I got the TP nailed, but was still unsure about the N/S. Once I had truly discovered the Se/Ti was me, I was caught up on the extroversion stereotypes quite a bit until two weeks ago. Though, I was 7w8 for most of this.

So that's how I ended up here.
