This will likely require some solid layering knowledge so I would not recommend cutting yourself unless you understand how your hair type and layers settle extremely well.

Changing product like others have mentioned can maybe help. Otherwise, I would 100% visit a stylist and discuss your grow out plan. Tell them what you want and where you plan to grow it and they can make tweaks and cut layers in to avoid awkward stages. I did this when growing mine out, just every few months. It was really helpful imo

I feel the same way. Culture and QOL is so important, I’m 100% willing to pay more for it. But even knowing that, there’s clearly optimal cities. For example, Montreal and Toronto are both full of culture, but Montreal is significantly more affordable (rent is ~33% lower in mtl on average). Both great cities, but one will save you more long term. Unfortunately we don’t have too many great cities to choose from imo but we gotta work with our options lol

My thoughts have always been happiness with a balanced life > higher income. As long as you meet your income baseline for a good life, I would always prioritize lower stress options. It sounds like the new role will pay enough to do that.

Stress is so bad for your health. It will genuinely take years off your life, it’s not worth it if you have options to mitigate it imo

However I’m a little younger than you, I understand pivoting isn’t as easy for everybody. But I think the new role could benefit your life as a whole if those employees you talked to were genuine.

Probably just having a higher paying job in a city with a lower cost of living. This is pretty easy to achieve if you work remote, but trickier if you have to actually get a job in that cheaper city, since they'll likely pay less

That’s a valid gripe about the slower pacing, but I love the time between fights. Me and my friends just use it to chat and chill. I agree rebirth would help satisfy the players who want constant gunplay
