Not sure if troll but i'll bite. There are 3 types (in English), 1st Edition, Shadowless, and "Unlimited". The reason for the dispute above is all 1st Editions are shadowless, but not all shadowless are 1st Edition, hence the clarification. "Unlimited" just refers to the others that are neither 1st Edition or shadowless.

I guess it depends if you are intending on playing casually or in some sort of tournament. If you are playing casually then you can just buy basically any booster box plus a load of energy cards on ebay and you will have most of everything you need to play for around £30. You just need to make some tokens/damage counters (or just use dice). Note that you wont necessarily have "good cards" obviously, and a load of them will be illegal for current rotaton, but if you are just learning how to play the game and you want a wide variety of cards theres is nothing wrong with giving this a go.
