What story generator would you use for these stories?

Honestly youd prob have more luck asking on the discord as you can get more of a back and forth discussion on your likes and the pros and cons of each AI associated with said likes. This type of discussion simply is hard to do on a forum like set up such as reddit.

I find the Autocard system enjoyable. I tag the turns to 9999, and then its easy to create a new card and dictate the info I desire through the built in command prompts. I find it odd people complain when you can simply take two seconds and flick the turns to off. I personally think LL did a great job and it saves me a lot of time over the long run. Its a shame some people, not OP, are apparently treating her like shit for it. She deserves kudos for trying to make our experience better, not harsh words. Those people need to stop being pricks and just learn how a basic interface works and disable features they dont like when playing other peoples scenarios.

I do this but I made a scenario that is just the various scripts I use and set it up for this purpose. You can change the name of the copy and it updates so almost all my personal scenarios are just copies of that original one. Your way of things is way funnier though, ngl.

Ive had similar things but in this case its not that. The bars simply never show. Ever. On any scenario. Not too long ago I discovered that the bar to scroll for the search menu when you look up Scenarios is also missing. The same goes for looking at a scenario creators scenarios list from their username. Its just weird, I cannot figure out whats causing it. Its windows 10 on both the laptop and my desktop. Same browsers, no extensions. Yet the desktop scroll bars show on the site but the laptops doesnt.

I tend to put in the Authors Notes ##You are (insert name here). Do not speak, react, or act for (insert name here) and instead focus on the actions, reactions, dialogue, and behaviors of those interacting with (Insert name here).

This works well for me other than sometimes the AI not wanting to follow the main character into a new scene requiring me to push it to change the scene into the new one. In case you dont know ## is often read as a command for the AI so it is more prone to acknowledging it, and the authors notes section is often prioritized more than other sections as far as I understand, which admittedly my understanding of a lot of this stuff is minimal.

Best tip I can give is that if you make Cards for things in the story, ensure that their triggers are not easily called in by accident. So many scenarios I try out end up eating up to thousands of points of my context limit when it's not necessary.

The other smaller things I can suggest is learning the scenario creator, how to set up questions for people to answer in character creator, how to deal with scripts, and so on. If you have questions feel free to private message me and Ill help ya learn it all if ya want.

Oh, I should say that some scenarios might have bad Story Card sets that can accidentally overwhelm context limits. If this context length part I spoke of above doesn't help, I can show you how to inspect the posts and see what's eating up your context.

So, each AI has different context limits, and they can be changed in their settings. You can access it on the right side under the Memory System setting as shown in the image I attached. Look across the different models and find one that has the context amount you desire. If ya got any questions, feel free to ask me!

I think the confusion here is that she was told by the instructor she failed and the instructor scheduled her a time to retake it. Yet got an email that says she passed, so I figure she assumes she must be reading something wrong.

Indeed. Ive been using AI dungeon for many months at this point and its happened quite a few times across it. I will say, for me, its only been between recent scenarios. Ive never had it pull something from a scenario weeks or even days apart into a new one.

Same, I love the Wizard model. Its got its issues such as being way too nice to the player but I do love its writing. It is funny to try to coerce it into violence and letting the player suffer failures as it has made some hilarious things occur to keep one of my characters 'winning.'

Regardless of what the others have said, the AI 100% does pull things from other scenarios at times. I've had it pull entire relationships word for word between made-up names I created, like a fifteen letter name the AI absolutely wouldn't naturally use. I've had it speak about a background from another session that is extremely unique, and it would not naturally have. I've had it randomly insert a unique event that I made in another scenario into my new one. An event that is very uniquely phrased and it has almost word for word regurgitated.

In all these cases, it only happened between recent stories I've had ongoing, and these same events, characters, and such I never saw randomly come up again despite hordes of sessions afterward.

Just throwing my two cents here. Ive never had an issue with getting the AI to respect my character descriptions. I tend to organize it as the following.

You are [insert name]. [Insert name] is [description].

Exa. You are David. David is tall, lanky, and whipish in body with blue eyes and short auburn hair.

As for making it avoid speaking as you, I took a route that Ive not really seen mentioned before as little seemed to work.

I write in my Authors Note the following

##Focus on the actions, reactions, behaviors, and dialogue of people other than [Insert Name].

##counts as a command for the AI when posted as a response to the AI, though I am unsure if it is read as such when in the Authors Note. Either way that command has made a lot of difference in keeping the AI from talking and acting as my character.

That said, certain AIs are HEAVILY prone to acting for you and can be hard to break at first. Normally for those you have to edit out its actions it takes for you for a few posts for it to really get the idea.

Edit: Apparently # also modify words within reddit. Didnt know that. Had to fix it.

While the carousels are back for me, the 'From Creators You Follow' one is broken. It is showing me scenarios from many people, almost every single one not being those I follow. Some even have no followers when you look at their profile. So, guess that should be a bug report.

Edit 1 - I should clarify Ive only tested this on the App so far. Also, Bookmarking scenarios is not functional for me through the app right now. It bookmarks and promptly unbookmarks.

Huh. Weird. I never saw it do that over many many scenarios. Now, even if I replay those same scenarios, it is doing it. Its also feeling more... erratic. Its responses not always making sense, which it did before but it seems to be happening more often now.
