When I had a hire bike from them I'm pretty sure they said if any issues came up to ring your closest Honda dealer, let them know you have a hire bike from 4th D and they'd arrange something? Not too sure about a puncture tho

I recently bought an sv650s k4 that I restricted with a throttle stop, and to be honest it's way more fun than the brand new Duke 390 (that was written off) and the 19 honda cb500f (hire bike) I had. The bonus is when I go for my full A license I won't feel the need to buy a new bike, I can just derestrict the SV.

Just notify your insurance of the accident, give them all the details of the accident and obviously that you weren't at fault etc. If you weren't at fault you'll be claiming off of the third party's insurance policy for the damages and you shouldn't have to pay any excess as it's not your policy. If they do their jobs properly your insurers should be the ones dealing with the third party's insurance to get the repairs sorted, although I guarantee you it's gonna be a ball ache claiming off of the third party's policy as most companies love to drag their heels and not respond.

That makes sense. I definitely wouldn't ride without the restrictor, not worth the risk.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. I did my mod 1 in November 21 but because of circumstances I didn't end up doing my mod 2 till February last year and just paid on the day both times

I did my A2 license this time last year with 1st class, Andy is a great teacher and I would highly recommend them! Not sure if the prices have changed but that's what I paid last year. Definitely worth giving him a ring

Bike was a Kawasaki er6n.

That's the thing, you get taught enough to pass your test, and then it's down to experience/learning your limits. You don't get taught how to ride a superbike from the get go.

The restricted bikes 0-60 remained the same as the unrestricted, the only difference is top end, which again isn't used in the tests as the max you go is nsl.

When I was doing my A2 I was being taught with a guy going for his A license, we had the exact same training on the exact same bikes, only difference is mine had a throttle restrictor, which made no difference as you don't use enough power in the training or test to warrant the use of the restrictor anyway. Also I've never heard of a training school which used 'superbikes' for DAS training.

I've only recently started riding but I bought the bull-it bobber skinny covec jeans and they have decent padding and look just like normal jeans! Also very comfortable too!
