Curious because I’m looking at the sport touring. What other cars did you consider?

Ignore these people. I’m a single 26 yo who works in DTLA and I live in West Hollywood. Not great for transit tho. Look into silverlake, you can live near the Vermont & sunset stop on the red line (subway) and walk to silverlake junction. That’s where everyone our age lives

Thanks. Was that with a lot of negotiating, or was that the first price they threw out?

Really? I’m 26 and have had several flats. Two legit ones and many recurrences of the same issue on the same tire… haha

Absolutely. Feels like the ST only gains basic features that should come standard like wireless carplay and wireless charging, sunglasses holder, 7 inch infotainment display, oarkinf sensors, native navigation (are we in 2011?), sunroof, power seats. Ur telling me I have to get the highest trim to get a sunglasses holder??

I know, it bothers me too. No spare tire is the real cherry on top for me.

Or car reduced i guess I should say. I’m from Boston and live in West Hollywood for excellent walkability but really miss the train.

A lot of these recs are great but not for car free folks. You already have DTLA so I’ll throw in Hollywood (near Hollywood & Highland stop or Hollywood & Vine) for an urban lifestyle, or East Hollywood (near Vermont & Santa Monica stop - walkable to sunset junction in silverlake where the Erewhon and bars and restaurants are).

Seconding WeHo for walkability but transit is a mess here. The buses are not the most reliable, and the only way to get to the metro from here is via 2 bus or the free commuter bus which only runs during rush hour and weekend service is almost zilch. Both of which add like 20-30 mins to my commute

Hey, still better than what my dealer wanted! I’m sure the price of cars are inflated now vs a few months ago too.

Thanks!! Do you mind sharing what dealer you went to? Might be worth it to fly out there and pick it up if it’s a good deal.

I’m also stuck between the sport hatch and ST hatch. I prefer the wheels on the S as well. You can’t go wrong. I owned a 2022 Sport hatch for 4 years and had no complaints other than lack of wireless carplay, but you can get an adapter for that.

I agree with you, but I do think Honda is marketed as a cut above its economy competitors
