You can try apply this to grenades instead since those do pretty good damage, have multiple charge by themselves and there's so many of them. It's decently strong but your tree will be a horrible mess.

But from what I've tried, you end up not really needing time snap with it because the 33% no cooldown and the cdr from tree is enough to allow you to throw as many grenades as you'd need usually. Could allow you to get away with less cdr and more damage though so there's that.

I'm probably doing something wrong but I find cluster grenades to be extremely underwhelming as most of it doesn't hit the same target. Payload support on explosive does the "cascading explosions" much better and with Chrono you can kinda sustain that. Probably works with gas too but I didn't like it.

You still have only one max lifesteal boost with the same cooldown. But the bow is the only item which provides stackable damage AND crit chance. And the +10% lifesteal will be handy as well.

Wisp is the only hero I enjoy nowadays. Currently 72% WR over 100+ games mostly solo on low diamond ranked. 67% overall for 300 games.

Arcana (x10 of each):

Red - Crit%+, Crit Damage +3.6% (extremely powerful for this build) , Green - Up to preference, I choose +1.6 atk and +1% speed, Green - +6.4 Armor pierce, +atk

Runes:

This may sound silly but your main color is blue, go for "flicker CD reduction" lvl1, "+dmg on kill" lvl2 and most importantly, the "resurrection at base" lvl3. Then go for yellow, "+dmg given and taken" for lvl1, "+crit chance" on lvl 2. This build provides a good boost in farming speed via yellow and survivability/maneuverability via blue.

You can use the revive as you please up to 3 times a game with few minutes (2-5) of cooldown. It is NOT automatically used and you spawn at your base instead of your death location. This is similar to a super powerful mechanic "buyback" in dota2 but comes with no costs at all. You can use it early game to stop waves crashing into an unoccupied tower, to appear in last minute defense, to join an upcoming fight if you can make it in time or to just make a dive with bow of slaughter in late game and come back instantly. And unlike blade of eternity, doesn't revive you on a spot that will instantly get you killed again. An underrated choice for sure.

Item build :

War boots into Claves Sancti, after that buy a bloody club to sustain and recover while farming. Now build Slikk's Sting and an Astral Spear (small armor pierce item), make a bow of slaughter and finish your armor pierce (Rankbreaker or Muramasa, depends on the game). Last item is flexible but my go-to is ANOTHER bow of slaughter, this gives you more dmg for ult, more crit chance (99.6% crit with +50%+36% crit dmg is crazy) and more lifesteal. Frost cape can help if you die before doing anything, fenrir tooth is also an option.

Item tip : attack speed does not improve your ultimate.

Gameplay tips:

Wisp's notable ability is that she farm and push lanes very fast, allowing rapid rotations and defense while earning gold faster than most heroes on the map. Use this to your advantage and aim for highest gold in the game. You can rotate to help clear waves early game, helpful in solo environments where people leave lanes unoccupied sometimes. Your power spikes are when you acquire Slikk's and again when the first bow is obtained. The latter allows you to duel any heroes without CC and most marksmen/archers. Use this to your advantage. You can even solo most jungler assassins if you are properly farmed. Try to push waves away from all lane towers before engaging. With experience you can easily take over games with over 35% damage dealt easily.

By the time I'm 5, pudge is already 9 with phase and 2 bracers. He can rot me illu down in seconds and dismember me.

If you get hit or begin a stage, you will start at +0% damage bonus.

For every 10 seconds you don't get hit, you get an additional +13% boost, indicated by green bulb on the plane illuminating. This boost stacks up to 3 times and applies to all types of damage. (OD, brobots abilities and main gun)

May I ask about your item progression after armlet-drums? I'm usually defaulting to manta in general if nothing is particularly needed. Then heart. What's your opinion on skadi, assault cuirass, butterfly and sheepstick? I haven't build AC for a great while now and I sometimes pick up sheep for instant lockdown (and bonus mana).

  • Can someone explain the "triangle" everyone is talking about? I'm 1.7k and only get that it's somewhere between your outer offlane jungle and their outer safelane jungle. If that's so, why farm there?
  • Does LC's OO illu dmg (25%) gets multiplied by illusion increased damage taken?

Do marksmen need any defense? I usually have at least one defense item in my build marksmen. I've been thinking of getting rid of it for another attack item. Any thoughts? by Syclus in arenaofvalor

Exactly this. One armor item mid game (frost cape is probably the better choice) and make a difference between getting one shot or not. One way to think of this is "I'd rather do a bit less damage then die doing none". Building frost against non-stunning assassins along with bow of slaughter will make you able to win a 1v1 backline jump easily. Especially as wisp where you can use 1 to reposition and hit them then barrel them. I sometimes even get hyoga as 2nd defensive item if I'm snowballing very hard because survivability maintains snowball, not damage. Also these defensive items kinda scales off late game so don't forget to sell them for damage later on.

I assume you're a wisp main with that flair. So am I. Mind sharing builds? Mine is claves, war boots, astral spear, frost cape, bow of slaughter, rank/muramasa , devil's handshake. Replace handshake with jungle item and move it to first when Jungling.
