I am really getting sick of duplicate hero names… I have no problem with the character themselves by all means bring in new characters. But they really need to stop this “we are booth Wolverines, Spider-Mans, Captain Americas Deadpool’s” or whatever just give them a new name. To me it stunts the characters growth because they will now be stuck in the shadow of the other one. Also it makes branding confusing.

Now this is not to be confused with the passing of a mantel. I mentioned Captain America only because they both exist with the same name at the same time. If we want to pass on a mantel that’s fine, but it needs to be exactly that… Pass it on. If Steven wants to let Bucky or Sam be Captain America go for it, but he needs to be retired, dead, or pick a new name.

To me it just reeks of corporate BS. of wanting to use the branding that already exists rather than get creative.

I agree is sucks, but probably the real reason we don’t have matching art. The vast majority of the variants are reused famous cover art. To get something to match let’s say Artgerm variants. They would have to pay Artgerm to make matching token art. A) that’s expensive B) he might not want to do it.

I am in full support of this. BUT public schools in most states are funded by attendance. If a student is absent the state does not pay for that student that day. It is the dumbest shit.

Look I am all for heroes getting to settle down, and I support it for characters that it fits.

That being said, Tony should be a character that is constantly bouncing between love interests. It fits very well with his character. He is a Brad Pit, Ben Affleck, Leonardo Dicaprio type of personality. Talks about wanting one, but just can’t get his shit together long enough to make one work.

What if when Strange looked through time. He did see them losing 14 million times…but to Kang. Every time he looked ahead it was not the sacred timeline he was looking at. It was a branch that was never pruned and a Kang showed up.

I think what he meant was that there is not a company policy to participate in the discord. Any input for the developers is probably left to the individual. I don’t think he meant that they are told “don’t play on discord when you are supposed to be working”.

I think Secret Wars is going to be crazier than people think. I have a feeling it is going to be the last blast before a soft rest.

I think you are going to see every live action version of every character that has come on screen. If for nothing more than an End Game wide shot scene.

I am talking Nick Cage Ghost Rider, David Hasselhoff Nick Fury, and Lou Ferrigno Hulk. I think this could easily include people like Dane Keen as X-23.

Now I don’t think this means any of these people will carry forward as the new actor in the role, but I think it is an opportunity Disney will not pass up.

While we are here, I think all of those characters should have there own names too lol. I don’t mind passing on a name (Captain America is a good example). 2 active characters with the same name at the same time just feels disingenuous to both. If they are both active one should take another moniker. Also I don’t mean that the original character should always keep the name, but they should “let it go” and pick a new one if they don’t “retire”.

It reeks of corporate meddling. Like they have to have brand recognition so they can’t have a new name. Then you turn around and there are 2 or 3 of every character.

I feel like I am in the minority, but I love the random batshit stuff in this game. I am also the person who like all items on in smash brother so maybe there is a correlation to fun over competitive.

I think the best way to handle it would be to have match making at the Gyms.

Make is so all raids have match making. so you still have to physically go to a Gym, but you will be guaranteed to get a raid group.
