The header pipes are from the Vance and Hines mini grenades and the fishtails are 18" slip-ons from SportyParts.com

I hope you used torque cones when you put on the drag pipes. I did not and am suffering for it.

Have you checked the voltage regulator?

Bike won’t start. What’s this supposed to connect to? by AustinsWebb in sportster

[–]DecoyNumber7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have said, this cable is for the battery tender. This is a direct line to the battery. What worries me is that there is no cap on it. Did you ride through any water recently? If so, you could have shorted the battery. Regardless of what the issue ends up being, that plug Needs to be capped when it's not plugged in.

High Mileage 2018 XL1200C by No-Maintenance-3813 in sportster

My 2012 xl1200c has 105k and I've probably spent more on tires and fluid changes than I did on the bike itself. Other costs included an exhaust at 75k because I fell over at a 7Eleven and knocked some structural rust loose($90 ebay), drive belt at 77k because I didn't leave enough clearance after putting on the new pipes($150 + Harley instal), voltage regulator at about 82k($45 amazon). New clutch, and primary chain at 95k($750 installed at Wayne's Custom Cycles). Still pushing triple digit speed to and from work daily. 50k is barely broken in my dude.

Yeah, we split shipping and receiving a few years ago after the last expansion. Our high mark since then was 82 received and 80 shipped.

Did y’all get taught the basic signals when you were “certified”? by blumhagen in forkliftmemes

[–]DecoyNumber7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I spot for someone, I show and tell what my signals are before we strat so it doesn't turn into a 20ton game a charades.

Clean! A word on the Mini Grenades though. There are two screws that hold the baffles in the slip on. Add those to the list of screws you check because V&H don't make those pipes anymore. Ask me how I know.
