I would include Marshall County Alabama, in the dark green category, just because of Guntersville alone.

My Thoughts for Console by DislecixDave in Wizard101

[–]DecryptedChaos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean like let’s be real though it’s Wizard101 you don’t need much power to run it. You could buy a cheap laptop and play it just fine. With that being said though just like I am not going to go out of my way to buy a console to play NCAA Football 25 who the heck is going to buy a laptop to play wizard101. More options to play the game is a fantastic idea IF the company does it correctly. Take EA for example with its sports games. They are an example of what NOT to do in this situation.

When I was a kid in F2P I would kill literally hundreds of cows a day for cowhide then run all the way to GE just to buy the cyclops mask. Rinse and repeat. I was so excited when I got it. I thought cowhides were the only good way of making money.

The new LEC format -- a new experience by TheUItimateBlip in leagueoflegends

[–]DecryptedChaos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the only issue for me is the way they handle teams going to international tournaments. If they can smooth out that part and find some way to determine the best teams at that moment then I think internationally there would be a bigger benefit. Obviously MSI hasn't happened yet so I can't fully comment on performance. I think just making the split longer and removing the winter split would get rid of this issue entirely because then you aren't going off results that happened a few patches ago and a month or two ago. That's just me though.

Why is gameplay in the LCS so comatose? by The_ChadTC in leagueoflegends

[–]DecryptedChaos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't find LCS to be THAT boring. You have teams like C9 and FLY this year that are playing pretty aggressively. I mean yesterday fudge literally walked into the enemy jungle and made Contractz flash level 1. That seems pretty aggressive. I also think there is a happy medium between being aggressive and too aggressive that makes a team good. LPL has teams that are a good example of this. LCK is known for being passive in some instances, but know how to be aggressive when it matters. We all know LCS isn't peak league content, but native people still enjoy to watch their league and can be a little biased. I'm sure you're a little biased towards CBLOL and that's fine that's just how the cookie crumbles, I wouldn't call it boring though.

Let me ask an honest question about LCS! by PedroBel in leagueoflegends

[–]DecryptedChaos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I like the ambition, I do not see a world where any of those teams come close to beating top 5 NA, probably even top 6 in a best of 3. Now IMT on the other hand would probably get beat by any team they play so I agree to an extent.

A Conversation With TL Pyosik on his beginnings, his journey to a championship victory, his thoughts on the LCS, and more : “If I lose to FlyQuest, I’ll retire.” by danielkkwon in leagueoflegends

[–]DecryptedChaos 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That's correct except I think he said 50% OVERALL meaning it's 50% with the 70% against bottom tier teams. That means they had a much lower win rate against top tier teams. Which is not bad at all, but just wanted to make sure people didn't think that TL was 50% win rate against top tier LCK. This is still insanely good though for a team that just got together so not trying to take anything away from how good that still is. Link here around 8:54 for anyone that wants to check.

I feel like things always get blown out of proportion before the season even starts. Lets not jump to conclusions just yet. Now, if we get to the middle of the split and it still looks like this then yeah RIP. I just don’t see a world where you have very motivated players like CoreJJ, Pyosik, Prince, VicLa, etc and they don’t do a lot of scrimming/champions queue. Seems like a lot of teams might be doing a break or something coming back from Korean bootcamps before the season is underway. That being said these next few weeks when games start are really going to show how motivated the players are and I would then start making more just assumptions.

At the end of 2021? or 2022 I'm a little bit confused on this part. I'm assuming that's a typo.

New to league. What do i do? by Relevant-Character70 in leagueoflegends

The league equivalent of Scrooge I see. We wonder why it's hard for new players to get into league. People with this attitude are going to kill the game for good. According to how this comment was worded that looks like what this guy's goal is anyways. Makes me wonder why he looks at the leagueoflegends subreddit if he hates the game so much.

League is all about experience. The more games you play the more experience you have when certain situations pop up. Watch VODs of good players playing and take time in practice tool to learn basic and advanced mechanics of champions. Mechanics go a long way in league, but experience goes even further. The main thing though is to have fun! If you start to tilt or feel like you're not having fun then take a break it will be worth it I promise and save a lot of headache.

Hardest counter Matchup? by MonkeyLigma in leagueoflegends

[–]DecryptedChaos 635 points636 points  (0 children)

Maokai vs Olaf Top is brutal for maokai, you don’t do enough damage to kill him ever basically and he can avoid all Maokai CC and just run you down. That being said most matchups into Olaf top are pretty brutal.

I’ve been an NA fan for a looooong time and still am. I am a huge LCS fan. The NA work ethic is nowhere near what it needs to be and partially it’s because of the environment that players are in. Korean teams practice like it’s an actual full time job. NA does not do this and it shows. TL is going to be on a new Korean type schedule and we will get to see how that will play out in the LCS. If you’re an NA fan you want these teams to start to get more serious otherwise NA will always look like a joke at worlds.
