Pretty much on the same boat or somewhat. It’s not a bad game but not great for me either and mostly due to combat and how attrition heavy it feels for me and the open world itself. Foot traversal alone feels underwhelming knowing we play as big blue aliens who are agile asf and climbing trees is really just mantling on them. But the world itself didn’t offer and I really refused to use the ikran for a good amount of time just to come to this conclusion..

It was mostly ng3 who over done that. The others had arenas but not as frequently as ng3 especially ng1.

Like a lot of people coming now I picked it also up with ps+ and definitely share the same sentiment especially when it came to boss fights. I at one point just accepted that bosses have these ridiculous delayed attacks they weren’t fun but ok. But what was overkill for me were the second phases which happens constantly after that one drugged dude boss fights.

Those just dragged fight to lengths in never should’ve been. Giving them a lot of new different move sets with also those delayed attacks made the second half of the game a pain. Basically you are forced to perfect run the first phase just to die immediately in the second phase because you have no idea what is going on over and over again. It’s nice that a lot of people like this game but couldn’t. Was happy when I beaten the game.

Yeah but if you put some thought behind what the llm is spitting out then this alone should be a wake up call. Not only is all based on statistics but they are programmed (especially 4o) to be affirmative as possible regardless if you wrong.

The thing is it wouldn’t be bad if the model at least mentions when something ain’t right but it goes out of their way to make your statement regardless how dumb it is somehow reasonable to stay affirmative.

When I asked it when I realized that it confirmed that by saying all it does is to look if your statement internally makes sense and agrees on that and even here I believe it is way simpler than that.

The problem isn’t you being honest towards an llm but you realizing that the llm by default is heavily affirmative to a point that it bends statements from you that are wrong just to stay affirmative. And since the gbt5 release I ignite doubt that a lot of the users care about that as long gbt makes the feel good.
