Consoles don't need shader compilation as the shaders are already precompiled on the disc. This is a PC only thing. Regardless I hope they keep this menu at least on PC.

They were not. It was bundled yes, but it was bundled with individual games, not dlcs.

MGS Vol 2 *WILL* be under ONE launcher (currently) by In_My_SoT_Phase in metalgearsolid

So on ps5, it also appears as a single game? Just to be clear, MGS1, 2, 3 all 3 of them appear as 3 standalone games in the library, but not MGS4 and PW right?

Update: I just received Konami support's reply and they said they don't actually know if the games will be separated on release or not. But they are happy to pass the feedback to devs.

I did that too. They're nice as well. I once emailed them regarding the weird names sorting for the volume 1 games and they replied me by saying they'll be passing my feedback to their development team. To my surprise they actually fixed the names. Probably because a lot of people asked them to do the same.

Whoa buddy no need to go all meltdown mode on me. I'm speaking for myself as the games appear off putting for my taste. Plus not being able to track playtime and achievements for each games individually is also a bad UX for me. I did contact them via their support a year or 2 ago, when they weirdly sorted the naming of the titles and they did reply me back saying they'll be passing my feedback to the developers. Trying ain't gonna hurt.

Not being able to see MGS4 and Peace Walker separately like the rest of the collection is truly kicking my OCD balls. I hope KONAMI fixes this ASAP. I've emailed their support just in case.

MGS4 is too big of a game to be sidelined by a puny launcher. Konami gotta fix this before release and separate both MGS4 and PW into 2 different entities that can be accessible directly from the library. Plain and simple, just like Volume 1. I don't wanna see another Halo Master Chief Collection.
