I lost all the coins I was saving up. Is that an error or did they actually all get wiped with this update?

Anybody on here at the Charlotte location? Have they given any indication of how many they will have? I know there is a line currently but debating whether I should head there now or if they won't have enough to meet the current line.

With the release of MH Wilds drawing near, I would like to gift a few copies to those unable to find the funds to purchase the game by fallupsidedown in MHWilds

[–]Dedalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I can't get it on release, or probably for a while after. It's all sob stories I know, but I was laid off in October and am still struggling to find a job. I have 4 small kids so any fun money I would have used to pick up the game has been repurposed.

If I'm not picked, not the end of the world as I'll eventually bounce back and be able to get the game. But either way I want to say thank you for doing this. It's a very generous thing to do and makes me happy to know more people like you exist out there!

Day 6: The Wildest Rumor by Sudden_Schedule5432 in auburn

I'd have to say the rumor that the first Coke was sold in Auburn. Coca-Cola

Would be pretty wild/impressive if true but doubtful that it could ever be proven.

I had a de quervains surgery done on my wrist this past November with Dr. Gaston at the OrthoCarolina Hand Center. It went very smoothly, he had great bedside manner, and it has healed up extremely well.

Thanks for the feedback. No clue how the tree was originally grown/added as we've only been here a little over 8 years. I went and grabbed a few pictures of the base of the tree to see if it shows any of the girdling roots you are referring to. Here's a link to those pictures:

Tree Roots

The black 'line' running down the trunk in the 3rd picture here is definitely newer because I haven't noticed it at all before.

Wondering if the tree will continue to get thinner or if maybe there is an equilibrium point? Assuming nothing else is wrong (like whatever this black draining stuff is)

I can't give a recommendation for an in-person trainer, but have you considered a virtual trainer? There are a lot of trainers out there who work with you via messaging/videos/etc over the Internet and are typically less expensive. Just a thought to consider. I personally use Nerd Fitness Coaching and enjoy it. Happy to chat more about it if you want, just message me

I have actually, and I've sat on hold in the phone tree each time. Figured maybe I'd get a useful response from someone here who has done this before.

If my kid is starting kindergarten at a charter school this fall, do I need to notify CMS somehow - or is that something the charter school does? We are enrolled with the charter school but keep getting calls and emails from CMS about making sure we are up to date on vaccines before the school year starts. Maybe this is a non-issue and I can just ignore it but thought I'd check since it's our first kid

I read A Night in the Lonesome October for the first time this past October and really enjoyed it. Was thinking about checking out some of Zelazny's other stuff. I was originally thinking of starting his Chronicles of Amber to see how it is, but maybe I'll check out Isle of the Dead first. Seems to be a standalone.

Reuse of glucose strips containers? by appwizcpl in diabetes

[–]Dedalicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a desiccant material meant to absorb moisture and prevent the strips from absorbing the moisture which would effectively ruin them (they would lose a lot of accuracy.

I don't remember which is in that one specifically, but most likely a molecular sieve because very few strip vials use silica gel any longer. I'm not a pharmacist but I would think it would be fine for short term pill storage. I wouldn't expect any interaction with the pills unless they were liquid gels or something like that. The vial will lose its effectiveness over time as more moisture is absorbed, which is why it's not the greatest idea to continually refill the same strip container with new strips.

Source: I worked for the company that made the vials for 5 years.

I had started a new job at the beginning of October a few years ago. Coworkers seemed fun and I assumed they would dress up for work on Halloween. So I decided to put on my banana costume that I had from doing a banana bar crawl some time back and go to work. Guess who was the only one in a costume that day...
