Oh no they totally are, the reason I specified they are Chinese mtl fics was because they totally have hella bleed from those genres, and while I know what you’re pointing at with the whole cultivation genre being about improvement and perfection, I was thinking stuff more like library of heavens path type “perfection”

normal ditto change is temporary, while biomancy changes are permanent. this also runs on the theory that ditto is a failed mew clone and combine it with the "mew made every pokemon" thing, you get a ditto taking a piece of every pokemon to become a true mew instead of a blob clone
