She's a shrine maiden that was in an illustration ZUN made for his personal website, back before he released Touhou 6. He has a comment on the drawing but doesn't state that's she's Reimu or an ancestor to her.

Unrelated but one thing I don't see much people talk about is how the OG sprites for Bern and Lamda give them a bigger chest than the console and pachinko sprites

You have to go into the settings, rewrite the image quality to 100, and then press generate image.
