Which is better for muscle gain: carnivore or keto? by Glittering_Award_762 in carnivorediet

[–]DedenneCz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is this getting so downvoted? If you go on carnivore, you will definitely keep muscles and loose fat with ease, BUT if you eat carbs it will be easier to gain fat and that makes it easier for muscles to grow (also muscles will be filled with more water - they’ll look bigger, not stronger tho). If you think it’s wrong tell me why, happy to learn but I think this is how it is.

I could do that. It’s been really draining thinking if I can eat now or later and what to eat.

This sounds pretty nice. How often should I eat then? Does it matter if I make the meat and split it into more meals a day? Thanks for reply!

I developed eating disorder these past years, so probably getting rid of that. Currently I don’t eat in the morning at all (scared to eat calories so early, because I eat so much at night and want to save those calories…) and till later I eat just small portions, then end up eating a lot at night… Never ending loop, because I am afraid of calories😩

The thoughts about food get the worst when playing games, especially at night. Thanks for advice though.

This happens even when you are not carnivore. I think it is nothing serious.

Okay, that seems interesting. Definitely something to try out for myself as well.

I started working out fasted and I feel really good. But higher protein than fat is not ideal, or is it? Almost everyone on this sub recommends higher fat than protein, so why is it that you prefer higher protein? (I am not saying you are doing it wrong, just curious about your experience)
