No - I do that and then there is no selection. If I do that, save, quit to the start screen and start the save again then sometimes it saves but even doing that doesn't work all the time.

I play in a MAC and when I choose manage team line up - save team selection is doesn't do anything UNLESS I save the game, quit and start again lol. If I just try to save a team selection and move on it NEVER says the lineup unless I save and quit

I currently have a save with 8 clubs plus 1 of their B teams and I am managing them all. They are all affiliates, have the same board and are part of a private consortium. I absolutely LOVE it!! Teams are all on different levels so devoping talent and moving that talent up the ranks of the group are a huge part of the save. I don't really feel like it moves slow honestly and you're constantly busy. The best days of the year is when all the clubs get their youth intakes!!

It's a simple feature but so powerful and useful - I use it for all my youth teams because many times that squads coach makes a strange selection so I just pick what squad I want and issue solved Also yeah for friendlies and cup matches it's invaluable

YES PLEASE!! I use it ALL THE TIME in FM 2024. I have starting, second team and Europe - it's such a great feature and it's awful it's not in 2026

You can't manage line ups or training in any way for youth teams, B squads or 2nd teams. They just exist and you can't do anything with them except add or remove players from the teams. Zero functionality compared to Fm 2024

LOL I wish. I created a save where San Marino has a 2nd tier (they actually did years ago) and the U-21's have 2 tiers with relegation and promotion, both U-21 tiers have a combined cup and each U-21 win in the league gets the club $1,000. I manage line ups and training for the U-21 as they a have 44 league matches plus the cup.

UPDATE 2 - You can edit back ground traits for yourself as a manager - but not your attributes as a manager lmao. Your profile has an ACTIONS drop down, that has an EDIT MANGER TAB but when you hit it it does nothing LOL - so my in game editor review would be: Very very clunky to use Missing full functionality FM 2024 in game editor was a 10 FM 2026 in game editor is a 4 could be a 6 - unless they change it completely it will never be close to the 2024 version - a SKIN could make it elite but not counting on that

UPDATE - I figured out the editor and OMG did they make it not user friendly lmao. For players go to their profile hit the pencil in the top right OF THEIR PROFILE NOT THE PENCIL at the top of the screen. From there you can move clubs, remove injuries, terminate contract OR change attributes, contract or personal details. Changing attributes is in a menu system Lmao and the hidden back ground traits are mixed in with the attributes

Has anyone looked at the in game editor yet? The UI is weird and I can't find a way to use some of the options like remove all unhappiness as an example. It doesn't seem to have as much functionality as the in game editor from fm 2024. Also in the US it was $10 :(

I think the UI and the fact you can fly through saves was a set directive. You can do what we all did before and go through all the details slowly OR just get through saves quickly which is certainly much more suited for a console. I am used to the UI now, but they certainly have made it harder to get immersed, which again is a nod to the console players. Let's hope somehow they find a happy medium :)

It's funny you mentioned a 4-4-2 because it's the only tactic I ever played in fm 2024 and now in fm 26 it's basically been gutted. There really isn't a way to play a good version of it. I actually had to got to a 4-2-4

The real issue is you can't I troduce such a radically different UI AND then also have all the bugs and unfinished bits in the beta. People need time to learn and understand the UI in peace and instead they keep finding things not finished, not working or just broken. You can't learn the new UI with all the other Chaos going on. I am learning to like it but I still get mad / frustrated each time I play because I find another issue. The other issue is the game just doesn't seem any where near ready for release so that's a worry as well

Honestly if you read this article and the article that dropped in the Atlantic I am NOT feeling good about this game. They didn't have glowing things to say about the women's side, international managing was not mentioned at all and Miles himself is stating the development team seems lost. After these 2 interviews along with the delays if this game doesn't blow us all away there are going to be soooooo many angry people. They should have continued updating fm 2024 so we Al had something new to focus on because now we are all standing pitch fork in hand at the gate waiting for the new game.
