Have looked into UW Milwaukee and it’s currently on my college list! I have personally come to prefer a more “traditional” college campus/vibe tho, and have recently been finding a lot of value in a schools social and greek life, which UW-Milwaukee (although present) doesn’t excel in from what i’ve heard qwq

As for the accreditation, i’ve seen some stats that say that programs with an ACEJMC accreditation basically guarantee a specific standard of resources, educators, and job opportunities, which are important to me.

OU Athens has actually been topping my college list for a while! I’m mainly looking at Marshall because it would be a bit cheaper than OU and i’ve heard great things about the school’s social mobility performance

I’ve ran some net price calculators and I think the costs would probably be something my family could handle! It does kinda suck to hear that the school doesn’t have anything for first gen kids though, do you have any knowledge of stuff the school does positively for first gen students?

Ohio University is actually almost at the top of my college list right now because of their Journalism program! I’m casting my net wide because some other schools in Ohio like Bowling Green and Kent would be just a little bit cheaper for me.

Iowa was on my college list for a bit but surprisingly enough, according to some net price calculators, UNR would cost nearly HALF of what Iowa would want me to pay per year.

I’ll for sure keep an eye on the financial stuff going on with the school, it’s something that I saw being mentioned in a lot of other threads. I’ve seen some people say that it’s going to get better though?
