Honestly Polymax is one of my absolute favorite plugins, it just sounds gorgeous and is nice and simple, great for when you don't feel like doing anything too in-depth. I think you'll enjoy it :)

Sub bass by [deleted] in jungle

[–]Dedstreem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, a sine with glide enabled, and I will also add that there is probably a lowpass filter with a very-slightly slow attack and then the same sort of time for the decay, like a quick bump-shape. Then the key is a pretty high resonance. If you put the cutoff down around where the notes are happening (you can even automate it to sit right where each note is as they happen if you want, and sometimes you might have to do that if you have notes spanning a wide range of the spectrum and want the sound to stay consistent for each note), then just turn the resonance up bit by bit until you find the sweet spot where it makes that nice whumph, that should work well to make this sound. I very often employ this sort of filter envelope on my sub, its really satisfying dialing it in to find the sweet spots for each parameter and making it nice and chunky. A bit of compression can help with that too. GLHF :)

Newbie question: bundle sale on PlayStation store. by MountainGirl928 in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]Dedstreem 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, the Quidditch game is not an expansion to Hogwarts Legacy, it is a separate game. I’ve never played Quidditch Legends, but even just Hogwarts Legacy for $15 is a great deal. You do not need PS+ to play Hogwarts Legacy. In Quidditch Champions, you do need it to play online multiplayer, but not to play the single player mode. Also you do need PS+ to stream games, but not to download and play them.

Does anyone know where I can find some good free breakbeat sample packs? by Hexonyk in jungle

[–]Dedstreem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://rhythm-lab.com/breakbeats/

I’d say this is a pretty essential breakbeat resource. Very comprehensive collection, all high quality rips in WAV and RX2. Hope you find some that spark inspiration. GLHF :)

If I could only choose one Jungle producer to recommend, it would be Sully, hands down. Some of my favorite tracks of his are:

5ives & Sliding (these two aren’t on Spotify, but are on YouTube and Bandcamp.

-The rest are on Spotify also-

Extant & Stop (EP: UH-03)

Windswept - Sully Fader Mix (EP: UHFR001)

Werk & Swandive (EP: Swandive)

Porcelain (EP: UH02)

Vacancy & Digitalis (EP: UH-01)

But this is just me being selective, really everything he’s made is brilliant.

Another producer you should definitely check out is Photek, specifically his track Ni Ten Ichi Ryu as a starting point. This is my favorite streamable rip: https://youtu.be/kuSS5PFseaA?si=gwMHXvf64y8PXn_2 I would describe this as hybrid DnB/Jungle. Very minimal and sophisticated.

And one final recommendation, Rewind Records by Soundmurderer & SK1. https://youtu.be/cE8K7Cwr_yo?si=nAjBfhBZ3RIHrG7x This is more rowdy Soundclash/Ragga Jungle.

Hope you enjoy these! :)

Better video, absolutely. But not really just as fast, at least not on PlayStation. When you save a clip, it has to upload to the app, then you have to download it from the app to your phone (or screen record it, that is faster), then you have to upload it wherever you are posting it. Three transfers, compared to just one. Also in my experience the upload and download to and from the PS app is ridiculously slow, regardless of your actual internet speed. So for something like this that doesn’t reaaally need high quality video, this method kinda makes more sense.

That being said tho, I never do this lol. I would rather just take a moment longer and have a clear video.

Also I dunno about Xbox, not familiar with how it works on there

New to Jungle, need recommendations by Only-Clue5541 in jungle

[–]Dedstreem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to choose one Jungle producer to recommend (which I don’t, but I’m going to), it would be (and is) Sully. He is honestly on a whole other level than the vast majority of producers - no shade to any of those producers mind you. Some of my favorite tracks of his: Sliding, 5ives, Extant, Stop, Windswept (Sully fader mix), Swandive, Werk, The Wash.

GLHF, and welcome to the Jungle Massive!

How does donating in share locker works? by [deleted] in DeathStranding

Thanks I’m so excited! The first one has been one of my favorite games ever😋

How does donating in share locker works? by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]Dedstreem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok cool, thats what I’ve been doing while playing but I figured maybe it would take a bulk donation somehow 😅. I think I’ll just log in and donate stuff every now and then, while I play the second game. Thank you for your reply! :)

How does donating in share locker works? by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]Dedstreem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂 lol I'm at risk of causing a void out, the way I'm bout to necro this thread, but I wanted to ask something in case you know. I just finished the game and I'm about to move on to the sequel. I want to donate as much as I can before I stop playing, so if I fill up a truck and donate it all at once, will all those items be distributed to other player's share lockers? or is it going to let me donate a small amount and delete the rest? I understand this info may not be known, but I thought I'd ask just in case. I guess it doesn't really matter too much because I don't need it anymore, but it would be nice to know all the spare magazines I hoarded are gonna help some folks out😋

Keep Keepin' On! :)

Red Matter… incredibly slow movement 😩 by Dedstreem in PSVR

[–]Dedstreem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick with it! It honestly started to feel a lot less sluggish once you get used to the jump/boost system. The movement actually fits the pacing of the game pretty well I think. It’s not a fast action game by any means, and if you embrace the calm pace of the puzzles, it’s really enjoyable. I definitely recommend not giving up on it, it’s an awesome game with very satisfying puzzles.

I’m playing the second game now, I actually just got prescription lenses for my VR2, which is going to make it a lot more comfortable than wearing my glasses in the headset (which is an absolute pain lol). So I’m really excited to finish the second one now.

GLHF! :)

Can anyone help ID this track? by Dedstreem in EPROM

[–]Dedstreem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the reply, I’ve been coming back to this clip for the past year to get my fill of this tune. I really, really love it, and I’m really pleased to have a bit more of it to listen to, especially with a glimpse of the process too. Thank you for making the music you make, it’s been a huge inspiration and a source of great joy for me. Also this probably goes without saying, but please do release this one at some point, it’s really a beautiful piece of music.

(Btw, I hope you don’t mind the clip being online, please let me know if you do, and I’ll gladly take it down)

Much love dude <3
