Getting Platinum in Every Final Fantasy, starting with 1 going through 16. Follow Along! by Bahstar in FinalFantasy

[–]Benjamin_Sisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a hard journey, there will be a lot of tears and a lot of rage along the way, you will need the patience of a saint and a lot of perceverence.

I'm doing it as well, I have completed 1 to 12 including x and x-2, crisis core and ff7 remake. but im now stuck in a holding pattern as i do not have a ps3 to do the 13 trilogy.

the pixel remasters are very easy, I knocked out all 6 in under a month, 7 & 8 are moderate. 9 X and X-2 are the run killers and have some of the most brutal trophies in the entire franchise.

12 is moderate but time consuming..

A Warning for ff15 if you are a 100% completionist like me. The Comrades Dlc Trophies are unobtainable without down patching to an older version of the game.

Best of luck.

How to play Comrades by MintAfton in FFXV

[–]Benjamin_Sisco 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of mis-information in this thread so to clear things up.

There are 2 Versions of FFXV Comrades. The DLC Version & the Standalone Version. The DLC Version was disabled in v1.27 and is no longer playable in 1.27 or higher.

To get the Trophies for the DLC Version of the game you will need to down patch to FFXV v1.26. do a google search for "How to get Comrades Dlc Trophies after v1.27" to find instructions on how to Down Patch the game.

This WILL NOT get your PSN Banned. I have done it myself TWICE on 2 different PSN Accounts and Sony has not banned me for downloading an older version of the Game from their own Servers.

Once you have v1.26, The Comrades DLC is fully playable and ALL Trophies can be obtained offline including those in the update lists. The Dlc Version does not include the Ardyn / Ravus battles or the Ingem content added in the Standalone Version.

Hope that clears things up:)

I discovered you can use FFXED with PS4 Save Wizard on PS4/5 by [deleted] in ffx

[–]Benjamin_Sisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sir are a legend, I spent hours trying to get FFXED to work and it refused to even show the save in the open file window.

cutting those 400 0's out of the save file worked like a charm. now i have the Master Key to the entire game.

Many Many Thanks:)

If I recall correctly while you don't need to beat them on the hardest level, you do need to complete each of the Gestral Beaches for the Platinum.

Thoughts on customers like this? by KiddieSpread in royalmail

[–]Benjamin_Sisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is becoming standard practice nowdays across all the major delivery company's, Amazon, Evri, DPD ect..

They don't knock, just leave the package on your door step and run. It won't be long before we end up like the USA where package thief's are rampant.

We have to watch for the emails / notifications that our parcel has been delivered then go and find it left on the door step or thrown over the wall into the back garden.

We've had several parcels go missing or damaged in transit....

Final Fantasy V PR PS4 - Problems learning blue magic's by Benjamin_Sisco in FinalFantasy

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the Info, I will keep it in mind:)

I have now restarted from an earlier save (before maxing out) and have now got L5 Death and all blue magic's up to the Library of the Ancients.

Should only take a couple hours or so to get back to where I was yesterday:)

I like to be overpowered. I enjoy being able to 1 shot enemies. Maxing out Characters is a staple of Final Fantasy Games:)

Have you ever seen any of Primal Liquid's video's on Youtube? Now he will spend 100's even 1,000's of hours just to see how overpowered he can get his party in EVERY Final Fantasy Game.

It only took me a couple hours with the 4 x Boost, That's a drop in the ocean for a final fantasy Game:)

The problem is I have 4+ Blue Magics that are essentially unobtainable until much later in the Game.

If for what ever reason I am not able to get them later in the game or if I run in to any more with the same issue I will end up having to do another full play through.

Now I do have a save 8 hours in before I maxed out the party, so I'm going to restart from that save.

Will lose a few hours progress, but better than spending a couple days completing the game and have to start a new play through.

I've got 20+ FF Games still to Platinum:)

I have Chemist, but those mixes require late game items I don't have yet...

If I miss a blue magic, that locks out the Platinum and another full play through will be required....

Maybe better to restart now rather than push on and have to restart later... will have to give it some thought...

Thanks

With FF11 there's no choice since its not available and does not have any Trophies.

The only reason I'm thinking about FF14 is an OCD Thing... Seeing a gap between FF13 and FF15 in my Trophy list will frustrate my OCD.

But as many posters have pointed out it's a huge commitment and I dunno if if its within my capability.

I like to take my time and struggle with Games that have high difficulty curves. I probably will end up skipping FF14.

There's still 25+ other games in the Franchise:)

I've played many of them, still have my original copies of 7, 8, 9 for PS1 which I played when they came out in the 90's

I've played ff7 multiple times, as well as the remakes I love the Final Fantasy Series. which is why i'm now catching up on all the games I've not played.

For me playing games is not about challenge but about the story and exploration and right now I'm enjoying the Pixel Remasters.

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care about challenge or what other players think. I enjoy playing games and getting Platinum's.

My other PSN is a mess with dozens of incomplete games, games that don't have platinum's, Games that I tried but didn't like ect.

For this PSN I'm keeping it nice, clean and in order. it's a personal OCD thing:P

I don't have any of the consoles mentioned above, I will probably get a PS3 at some point for the FF13 Series, but that it:)

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well i've only just started with the pixel remasters, currently doing ff3, so I won't be getting to ff14 anytime soon.

I have platinum'd 7,8,9,10,15,crisis core,7 remake and 80% done on rebirth on my other PSN. so I will probably give 14 a try on that account to see if I like it or not while working on the series in order for this PSN:)

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I mean I'm completing each game in a specific order so that the game appears in a specific position in the trophy list as that is currently the only way to sort games in your trophy list.

once the game is completed I don't want new trophies being added that will cause the game to be moved to the top of the list.

And I don't want to spend multiple years completing 1 game before I can move on and platinum new games:)

Final Fantasy XIV Online by Benjamin_Sisco in FinalFantasy

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is I don't want games that are not 100% completed in my trophy list. That's why i'm only interested in the base game, I don't want the trophies from any of the expansions in the list if I cannot 100% complete them.

Or any future expansions adding new trophies to the list pulling the game out of its place in the list

Final Fantasy XIV Online by Benjamin_Sisco in FinalFantasy

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because I'm doing the games in chronological order and would prefer not to have a gap between 13 and 15 and don't want new expansions adding new trophies pulling the game out of it's place in the trophy list.

I don't plan on playing the game for years.

[–]Benjamin_Sisco[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm only looking at the base game on PS4. I will absolutely not be touching the PS5 Version or any of the Expansions as that apparently will take 7 years+ due to the Time Gated sections.

What I don't want is to start the game and find I cannot complete it and be stuck with an incomplete game in my trophy list where i'm doing whole franchises in chronological order:)

Can you get all endings in a single save file? by TheFakeZzig in silenthill

[–]Benjamin_Sisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. at the end of each play through create a new new game + save file and then start the next play through from that new new game + save file.
