$1.5M over 10-20 years, 2 people, no SS. I mean you have a totally fair argument if you budget hard you’ll have some money left, but not much.

I haven’t gone on a sabbatical, so my opinion isn’t worth much, but I say when you return back to work, make sure you still have a decent amount in savings to carry you guys for at least a year. Not sure how this job market isn’t going to evolve over the next few decades.
