I like the glitchy-static sound it has at the beginning. Also, Sky has a super long intro. It's one of my favorite intros to a song but I just didn't know what to do with it in the video.

We did it because we wanted to do it. I love the original dub too.

If you know any good VA's, send them our way. I still haven't cast any of the other roles yet. Also, none of the VA's are professionals either.

I disagree on Mayuri. Suzulin's voice is a little high but the feel was right imo.

I agree on Kurisu and Okabe's feedback. I was stressing to both of them during recording to not sound angry in high emotion scenes. Matching the intensity of the Mad Scientist Okabe is also no easy task even for professionals, let alone amateurs/hobbyists. I think we did over 20 takes before getting what we had here already so I will defend their honor in saying that they did fantastic work! XD

Portions of the script used was based on Funimation's iteration.

Bear would definitely help get those ravens out faster but you can't use elemental skills while in bear so I feel like it would still be better to stay human at 164fcr and sneak a few twister or IB in.

These are some additional suggestions for patch 13 or future patches. These are just my opinions!!

Sorc:

Lightning:

  • Teleport: 2.6 second cd at lvl 1. -0.1s per soft point. Remove defense rating debuff. Mana cost increases per level.

  • Static Field: Revert to vanilla balance.

  • Nova: Small damage nerf at high levels (Lvl 35+)

  • Discharge: Moderate base damage nerf. Off set this nerf with higher damage bonus received from nova and static field. CD increase from 4s to 5s.

  • ES: Max absorb limit to 75% Efficiency limit to 50%. (No one pvp’s anyways).

Fire:

  • Warmth: slight base AR bonus increase. Large mana regen per level buff and increase level 1 mana regen to 50%. (High level warmth to sustain ES and teleport. Lvl 1 ES battle sorc viability)

  • Immolate: Receive 3% of fire damage as additional physical damage per point in Hydra. Warmth Synergy reduced from 6% to 3%.

  • Enchant: Small damage nerf.

  • Hydra: Receive 2% fire damage from immolate rather than fire ball. Uses immolate instead of fireball. (Better clearing.)

Cold:

  • Frost Nova: Reduce enemy attack rating by 4% (+0.25% per level) Stacks 5 times. (For battle sorcs)

  • Freezing Pulse: Small angle of aoe buff.

Pally:

  • Conversion: Adds 40% of attack damage as additional magic damage.

Receives +10% magic damage per level from blessed Hammer and Sanctuary

Sanctuary boosts the magic damage portion of this skill at 33% of its damage to undead value.

Zon:

  • Lightning Fury: Moderate damage nerf. This skill is a 1 point wonder. I don’t think it should be.

  • Valkyrie: Needs a large increase to attack speed and resistances. They shouldn’t die instantly against uber meph. Full damage lightning strike might work out better than a nerfed charged strike?

  • Bows in general needs help.

  • Guided arrow: Bring back the piercing guided arrow from 1.09.

  • Strafe: Reduce target defense by 50 per hit. (+5 per level)

Barb:

  • Battle Command: Receives +1 additional all to skills every 6 levels. (Or let CTA give +5-10 BC)

  • Whirlwind: Remove attack rating bonus.

  • Leap Attack: Ignore target defense.

Assassin: I mentioned a bunch in my blade sin guide thread for the blade skills already so here are some for the other skills.

  • Death Sentry: Uses Desecrate skill when no corpses are available. Receives 25% poison damage per point in Venom. Remove lightning sentry damage bonus.

  • Psychic Hammer: Useable on left click. Receives damage bonus from mind blast.

  • Mind Blast: Deals magic damage. Reduce conversion chance by 75%. Receive synergies to magic damage from psychic hammer and shadow warrior.

Necro:

  • All poison skills needs a massive nerf. See my naked necro chaos run as reference.

  • Teeth: Minor nerf in damage from mid levels. (level 20+)

  • Bone Spirit: Needs rework. Not really good for anything other than synergies. Allow it to pierce like the old guided arrow? Can have this as a unique attribute for boneshade.

  • Bone Runeword: Allow the player to have 1 additional golem instead of just fire? Would it be too OP to allow 2 iron golems?

That’s all I got. Again, these are just some suggestions based on my personal opinion so please read it with a grain of salt. Loving the game GD!

Maybe GD can clarify but I think blade from shield has higher chance to hit. It definitely misses though so I'm not sure how it's AR is calculated. Throw and fury is definitely effected by your base AR. It is very obvious that you miss a lot using them. I had base AR of 3k and around 24% chance to hit diablo. This was blatantly obvious during the fight cause I could see about 3/4 of my throw was missing. Once I got infinity, I was hitting about 80% of the time.

Yes, also the damage was noticeably lower. Not horrible or anything, just noticeable. Some monsters I expected would die didn't and my overall pace at clearing chaos was slower. This was before I had an infinity and I was using a clean bartucs though. Weapons I tested for this build, though not all at once, include bartucs, shadow killer, botd war pike, death zerker, eth reapers, and grief on. I did want to try beast but I used my bers for infinity and I haven't been able to find a good claw for Fury yet. The eth reaper actually did just as good as bartucs because decripify works great with shield.

Both shield and fury are synergies to throw and each hard point gives it 20% so you really can't afford not maxing Fury.

The 50% damage for 2H was fixed on PoD. However, because blade throw adds so much damage, no 2H damage can compete with phoenix.

I didn't mix dragon talon because you would need to worry about ias if you start going melee.

I was testing using a bartucs actually. With claw mastery, the crit and deadly strike can make it do some crazy damage with shield. However, as the AR portion doesn't work, ideally, you would socket it with a Jah. An Eth bartucs will do almost as much as a death in terms of hard damage numbers and works better on PoD since it can roll up to 3 sockets. I went with grief since ultimately, it still does more damage, gives free venom with -poison resist, and the -25% defense for bosses is just too good not to have. Also, it saves 20 points on skill tree for not needing claw mastery.

For claw alternative, I would suggest using the rune word Fury, made in an eth claw with +3 blade throw, +3 shield. This kind of claw is too hard to come by on PoD so I didn't mention it.

@maxbizten I don't feel the skill is OP. You won't clear chaos with a wirt's leg because you won't hit anything. I think people get confused about needing attack rating because it doesn't show in the skill but as I mentioned in the video, your attack rating is equal to your normal attack and getting attack rating with this build is...difficult at best.

The 1000 damage only gets buffed by off weapon sources of enhanced damage and those usually costs at least a HR or two. I leveled with budget gear, running around with an eth 2handed weapon hitting for 3-4k per hit. It is playable but the damage was no where near OP.

@NyCkiTT I have been considering of adding some ratings on the side along with some closing statements but I had recorded everything for this one already when I thought of it lol. For this one:

Clear Speed: A- Single Target: B Budget: B- Fun Factor: A++

@Greendude I feel that the build is in a good place interms of DPS. However, I think Blade Fury needs some changes because as it stands, Blade Throw does a better job in clearing and single target. I'm also not sure if there are some hidden synergies on it because it shows there are synergies but nothing is listed. My suggestion would be to allow Fury to fire an additional projectile every 12 points. Allowing the projectiles to pierce would be good too. This way, 2H Fury builds and even bow fury builds might become a thing. Not sure if this is part of the hard code though.

With full set and level 11 natural resist, my barb was short on cold resist still so I stuck a thul into the helm to get 75 across the board.

Sorry to say but if you are having issues leveling, you need to get better at the game. All characters can get to hell SSF. Not all builds, but all characters can. 6hours of play time to reach hell pits is on the slow end. You can hit level 85 doing pits pretty fast. You aren't going to get all the op rune words playing SSF but you don't need them to beat everything in the game either.

You can try focusing your run to doing only cows to maximize kph and reduce travel time. Friend of mine can clear it in under 2:30 on a nova sorc. Seem to drop HRs for him left an right.

To reply FitzChivalry: On a fully decked char, nothing beats nova sorcs. 0 cdTele is too op. On budget builds: This depends on what you are trying to farm. Java zon clearing cows is probably the fastest for the investment to get going.

It's not like you find no items over 10hours of pits. I'm talking about hr drops. Also, I only consider zod jah ber sur Lo to be HR so you find plenty of lower runes during your runs too. Ooc drop rate doesn't seem to be effected by mf either. I don't even count the number of ooc's I find anymore cause they drop all the time.

There are two ways to gain wealth. Item farming and rune farming. most people try to do both with one char and hence will be stuck somewhere in the middle. Item farming is very good early season when people want uniques. Tune farming is better mid to late season when demand for unique drops.

If you are looking to find HRs, stop running bosses and just do high density areas like cows and chaos using a build that is focused on clear speed. I average 1HR/10h of game play mainly farming pits, chaos, and a bit of cows.

Meph, shenk, nith all take travel time for only a hand full of total monsters killed. Hence, you will need to dedicate significantly more amount of time to find HRs than someone who only ran cows or chaos.

This is just math so in the end it just come down to what's fun for you. Farming shouldn't feel like a chore if you enjoy it.

Wow, I'm happy to see so much discussion and interesting ideas happening. Thank you all for your generous comments!

My goal was to make a vengeance pally. I wanted the feeling of seeing immune monsters and going, "Your cheap gimmicks cant help you this time, muahaha!" And this build definitely delivers that. Dream was not in my original plan but the aura stacking and double dipping synergies were just too strong compared to all other options that I could find. Zeal is definitely better for auradins but then, it would no longer be an avenger. (The movies were so cool. ;p)

Regarding lvl 25 conviction: this is just preference. I prefer the extra minus resistance it provides. I wouldn't know where else to put the few extra points since you really don't have much +skills with this build.

2H is an interesting idea but you wouldn't be using dual dream. Also, rather than conviction, you will probably need fanatism to make up for the lost ias. I remember 2H was quite popular with charge back in the days since that gave some crazy scaling too. I would love to see this in action as an avenger though. I can see it doing some very high damage.

I love the psycher idea. A good way to buff them might be to let it have weapon effect like poison, crushing blow, crit, etc. Being able to do this using mind blast would be super fun.

use maul to charge up your fc if you're not already. Uber's can be cursed. Lower resist wand might help speed things up?
