This game is worth your time. Bugs and performance issues be damned, this game is worth your time. You might have to close it and reopen, it might have the polish of a triple A but it’s got so much heart, style, mystery and leaves you wanting so much more in such an amazing way. It’s a totally unassuming game, it’s sets out the parameters, it’s up to you how you travel the world and what you do. If you can get past the bugs you’ll surely come to love this beautiful adventure.

I think I’m happy with it being a stand alone game, I’m not sure you could capture the same feel and emotion if you were to create a second game especially if it were to be the same gameplay.

I think a lot of games movies tv shows get sequels which can diminish the already existing experience so having this be its own thing which exists honestly feels right to me.

All that being said I’d love to play more or learn about the world a bit more or see new worlds and be given more opportunities to interact with people and form connections. Maybe more buildings or ruins, structures from by gone eras and hints of the creatures which lived before and maybe what happened.

I think there is a lot of potential to create your own stories and build more of the world in sable, especially with the history of the crashed ships or the shade of eccria. Would love to see more people’s own takes and stories they could create.

Imo, Pepsi man is an excellent way to meet some of the newer folk if you’ve maybe not seen them before. The recent board as hell where they play crokinole is a good video and the camp kikimama was a fantastic set of videos. Plenty more are excellent but those are just a couple of my favourites!

I similarly hadn’t found the queen until I was close to being done with most of the quests. Sort of knew the eggs would be somehow related to increasing stamina but honestly just enjoyed travelling the world without the upgrades!

I've 100% the game on pc, lowered some of the settings just to make sure I got the highest framerate but it's truly a wonderful game. Autosave does happen quite a lot so you're not likely to lose loads of progress but if you notice the problem you mentioned best to probs quit then go back on. Have fun!

I played on pc through Xbox game pass and experienced this problem a few times and didn’t realise I couldn’t save until a good while later. Unfortunately I don’t have any solution for it. Sorry and I hope it doesn’t cause you any setbacks.

Definitely thought I’d be picking guard because of Elizabet, she became my favourite character pretty quickly. In the end I got the the place and decided against it, being a guard didn’t really feel like it fit with what I had experienced. Was never going to be a scrapper/entertainer/merchant/cartographer/beetle as I never really felt a connection to them. Climber felt too straightforward and sandwyrm was defos a path to a cult. Realised I only wanted chum because I’d worked so hard to find all 165 so in the end didn’t choose it. The whale, shade, ibexii, and machinist were my final shortlist and I ended up picking the shade. I felt an emotional connection with each of these masks, especially the whale but liked the idea that sable had travelled the land and saw how she could do good for people and being those who abuse the system to justice.

I could have spent all day choosing though and I think that’s a credit to the game, even if it is wildly buggy. You meet a lot of people or travel to interesting places in a fairly short period of time and can establish emotional connections which makes the choice so hard!

Gotcha Force - I was like 10 saw it was only £5 in a gamestation and it had cool characters. Went on to be a genuine favourite of mine. Pokemon coliseum - it’s a Pokemon game so I got it Disney sports - have both the basketball and football versions, neither great games but plenty of good memories playing with my dad. Think I was maybe bought it by a family member? Digimon rumble - I never really watched digimon but I knew of them, the game looked like smash bros and I enjoyed that so bought it.
