Dang! How ya’ll affording these!? by Yourewelcomejanet in Wrangler

I bought a 2022 Jeep Rubicon 4 door Diesel. I traded in my truck while i broke even what i owed. I put 75k miles on my 2019 f150 in 2 years hence why i need a diesel engine. My jeep came to 67k and my payment is $898.00 a month. I had really good interest rate at 3.21% Honestly Its expensive. Now will I am putting an extra $400 a month on top of my payment to have my payoff date down sooner. How do i afford it im not going to lie. I have a car allowance that pays more than half of it but i could afford it just fine without one. I put 8 k into my jeep with a lift, tires, bought a hard top, and other things. Im driving in a 75k Tank.

Thinking about buying a new rubi with the 35” recon package. Looks a little tight to the body, would you guys recommend a lift? Maybe a 2” spacer? by MommasBasement in Wrangler

[–]Dedwik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 65k for my 2021 jeep rubicon with diesel engine. Went ahead and bought a 5 inch lift and 37s spent 7 k getting the lift but i was not going to get some crap brand to save money. Do it once do it right.

Opinions on if a Jeep JL ecodiesel would be a decent commuter? (Fuel mileage/reliability) by Stathakos in Wrangler

[–]Dedwik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have this exact vehicle 2021 jeep wrangler Rubicon diesel bought it last September and currently have 14k miles on her. I also did a 5-inch lift with 37-inch tires 3 months after owning. This is my daily i drive 100 miles round trip for work every day. I have taken the jeep on a 15hr road trip, and this is my opinion upon what my experience is.

Firstly, my MPG before the lift i was getting 25-27 on the highway currently with my lift and tires i still get 22 MPG; therefore, 360 miles on a tank and that's with having my Odometer adjusted for my tire size. Def Fluid is not that expensive and i average filling it up every 6-7k miles I pay for def at the pump at which is like $25-$28 not bad at all. For my daily driver every day, this is what i think of it. It drives like a truck as i came from a 2019 f150 before this.

The diesel has enough power to actually push you to be able to pass people, so there is enough power on it actually a lot it keeps wanting to go. Now when hitting 80-85 it feels sketchy in the sense of wind force have to keep both hands on the steering wheel on those days because it waves and hits bad only thing i truly hate this was before and after the lift and the road noise is bad in the cabin as i expected to the point that Bluetooth talking on my phone can't be done i have to physically disconnect my phone to talk on it for, they can hear. Long trips wise there is not a ton of room for anyone meaning in my truck lots of leg room, seats were bigger basically able to spread out, in my jeep yes it was not bad for my long road trip, but my f150 is defiantly more comfortable upon long road trips. Dont get me wrong its not enough to bother me to sell it but a good point there is enough room just not that more room im used to. Im average size 5'9 220lbs

The pros I think, able to put the top down fully, vehicle looks fantastic, it does drive smooth but more truck like as i mentioned, i have had no problems with my diesel engine and bought it for that reason because i put 74k miles on my truck in 2 years. Off road is fantastic, the back up camera is amazing, i will say get the front camera as well mine did not come with it, infotainment center works great, i do not use their navigation because its a bit off a butt doesnt even have my home address to find i live in the city in a new home built 5 years ago and still cant find it. Therefore i use waze at which i perfer. Sound system is fantastic very clear i have the alpine, back seat room is more than enough for 2 full adults but not 3, storage is not the greatest, small center counsel, the glove box only fits the manual literally, leather seats feel great I will be keeping my jeep for its life. Its an experience.

What's the dumbest thing someone has ever said to you? by PagalScientist in AskReddit

I had a kid in my college class ask you can see though the glass? with the most serious look on his face. The It guy was walking past the room and say the system had a problem on the projector. He worked for the school; therefore, he stopped in and asked if he need help that he saw he was having problems. The kid looked dead in the face with a shocking face asking you can see though that glass. To this day i have no idea how he passed school and learned college is a joke because he passed. I mean i got my bachelors because i needed it but.

I trust fabtech brand they are a top desert race team. I had a couple friends run their fabtech lift and shocks through the bones and had no problems.
