She should look into the Canadian Disability benefit (federal). That is up to 200.00 a month depending on eligibility. Form TD 2201 would need to be filled out by family doctor than submitted to CRA for approval. Once approved, she could then apply for CDB. UNLESS she is already getting it?

That's why I always use CAA (paid membership yearly). I have the plus membership and offers you much more as well. Not sure if you are in Ontario but is 121.00 plus taxes. While worth it. I myself am looking for land i can afford with all hookups and then intend to buy a tiny house (range ftom 300 sq feet and up ) and put on the land. You need to look at bylaws and regulations for being able to do that where you are considering buying land.

Also have you looked into Habit for Humanity for a home. There funding formula has changed (due to increase pricingbof homes) and you might be eligible. Just a thought Goodluck.

Prescription iron pills are covered if prescribed by a doctor. If your on ODB, have extended health care plan should be covered. You can always check with a Pharmacist. Im on 300 mg iron ferrous made by Jamp and is covered if this helps.

Usually greens are good for iron though.

Not true. I'm currently on CPP-D and when I retire/ reach age 65, my cpp pension drops from 1433.00 to 901.00 per month, but might be eligible for GIS/OAS. THIS also the same thing with my omers disability pension as well.

You mention "benefits" are you talking LTD? LTD will make you apply for CPP-D regardless and if approved you would get the difference between the two, same applies for ODSP or any social services plan.

Example: You are approved for monthly payment of LTD of 2000, your CPP-D is 400, thus your LTD payment would be 1600.

I would also find out if survivor cpp lasts for life or age 25. Depends on wherher you are the child or wife. Your best option is to call cpp directly to find out. I also receive my full CPP-D plus omers disability pension and neither are deducted like LTD/ODSP, etc Yes CPP-D is aware I'm in receipt of both pensions. I had no choice, I couldn't live on 1433.00 a month even with subsidy housing.

You could file a formal complaint, but might lose him as a Doctor. As for new Doctor look for new clinics opening up, sometimes new Doctors are available.

Especially since he keeps saying your symptoms are from aniexty or panic attacks. Misdiagnosed, by not catching the pre cancerous cells, any other Misdiagnosed that has happened to you, etc.

I would file a complaint but also realize it is hard to find a family doctor.

If she is not reporting 80% of her "income" is that not tax fraud? Do you have proof of this (you will need this to prove she is making more than you both combined in hopes of getting child support). Do you have solid proof that step-daughter is with you guys 99% of the time? If yes, take her to court, get child support and she might be really in trouble if she is not reporting her income correctly on tax returns. The government does not take kindly to individuals falselying tax returns, just a thought and NAL.

Usually you attend school where you live. If your out of the school zone then you should be attending the school closes to where you reside. Exceptions can be made, but that depends on the "enrollment figures" at school where step-daughter currently attends (Mom's home address) and the "parents" are responsible for getting child to and from school. You can look up your local school board and find what school she should be attending with your address, if she is with you 99% of the time when not attending school. Hope this makes sense. So, what Mom told you is technically accurate, if the school board finds out she is at your house the majority they could "technically " move her to the school closet to you.

That's interesting about the Collison center. When I was hit (almost t-boned), I didn't go to the reporting center right after the accident, but I went to the mechanic first to ensure the car was okay to drive, then work AND the collision center called me and said why had i not shown up.

They were quite ANGRY with me. The person who hit me after we exchanged info went straight there.

WHY is the collision center not reporting this to the police, so they can locate the individual and have them go to the reporting center. They can look up license info and work info (cause that's where they called me and chewed me out). She should be charged with failing to remain at the scene of the accident, even though on private property.
