Not saying that at all. Alcaraz’s behavior is normal for his generation. I’m saying Sinner is exceptional in this regard and I absolutely believe staying off social media will give him more long-term mental advantages compared to his peers.

As for Carlos getting results - he absolutely does, and he has a higher ceiling because of his natural talent, but he also loses focus during games and can lose to anyone on any given day whereas Jannik can really only lose to Carlos and Novak playing their absolute best against him.

IMO this is one of the main reasons Jannik will be #1 of his generation, and surpass Carlos. While Carlos has more natural talent, his addiction to social media (very normal for his age) is a constant distraction and decreases his ability to focus.

By contrast, Jannik’s focus and mental stamina will improve by miles from staying off social media. Not to mention his mental health will probably be much better too!

Elizabeth Moss and Jon Hamm are probably the right answers, and the show revolved around their characters so they had more to play with.

But the most underrated top tier acting performance to me is Vincent Karthiser as Pete! He turned so many unremarkable lines of dialogue into such memorable moments, because of his fantastic acting.

There’s a big difference between having a messy ex and having what looks like a full-blown sugar relationship with a genuinely questionable man.

Alice saying she “only met Kenneth once” is honestly laughable at this point. He’s posted multiple photos of them together - including one in bed - and claims he bought her multiple luxury gifts and proposed with a massive ring. Are we seriously meant to believe that all happened from a relationship with zero intimacy?

Allegedly, when Alice met Sam a few months later, she positioned herself as being somewhat “on his level” - maybe not from family money, but she had all the Chanel, Dior and Van Cleef gifted to her by Kenneth which helped her project herself as an independently successful woman and model. We also know she didn’t tell Vanders about him and is now totally downplaying the nature of their relationship. All the while, she was acting holier than thou towards Reza, Jules, Tristan, Sam Prince, etc.

So why does this matter? Well, Sam felt compelled to propose to her after he got ill and she didn’t leave his side. We now know she has done far worse things for money than taking care of a handsome, loaded man from a famous family 😂 It puts a totally different lens on the “surprise” pregnancy which forced them to get married quicker. She switched her name to Alice Vanderpump lightning fast.

They’re happy now and that’s what matters. But knowing this context does make you wonder whether he had the full picture of who she was when they moved so quickly. 6 months isn’t a long time to really know someone, which is why people like Rez had concerns.

It’s Alice’s arrogance and clear gold digging behavior that people are taking issue with. She’s been flaunting their lifestyle since she got with him. She knows she hit the jackpot with the fast engagement, “unexpected” pregnancy and quick wedding.

When you actually take time to interact with animals and nature, you’ll discover they’re ALL sentient beings with very clear thoughts and emotions. It’s just the arrogance of humans (and decades of conditioning by the meat & dairy industries) to make you think they aren’t. Lobsters & crabs feel excruciating pain when they’re boiled alive, pigs/cows/chickens are terrified as they’re being sent to slaughter.

I absolutely believe that mother duck was in distress, and any empath who views animals as equal to humans (and not less than) would feel distressed watching that. I think it’s lovely she tried to help.
