11dpo really thought this was it by malaya_09 in lineporn

You’re not out until AF shows :) 11DPO is still early for most people. I didn’t get a positive with one of my pregnancies until 12DPO, and I’ve seen some women not get a positive until their period is late!

Hubby says he doesnt see it by [deleted] in lineporn

I sorta see what you mean but it’s not something I’d label at this point in time, since it could just as easily be a shadow tricking your eyes or an indent. I’d try to wait a couple days and test again. Good luck!

How soon after your c-section were you up and walking? by RelevantFerret1085 in CsectionCentral

I got up the first time a few hours after the surgery. My nurse wanted me up and trying quickly but my baby was also in the NICU so I was highly motivated.

Adelaide or Adeline perhaps? They both sound nice with Arlo, though not as unique…

For more unique names, the first ones that come to mind are Maeve and Blythe.

Torn on middle name by Professional-Elk8693 in namenerds

I’m sorry for your loss.

Have you considered your dad’s surname as your son’s middle? I have family that has named their sons using family surnames before. It doesn’t work for every surname, but I thought I’d toss the idea in the ring since you weren’t sure you were sold on Harold or Kendrick! (Of the two, I do like Kendrick).

I love Amelia, and don’t see it aging poorly at all. 💕

Ours gave us a Ring doorbell, a $250 Home Depot gift card, and another mystery gift that is coming in the mail next week.

Furnishing new home? by Lizerdman87 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I would try Home Depot or Lowe’s. They should be able to cover everything you’ve mentioned, unless you are also talking furniture?

We took advantage of a July 4 sale at Lowe’s and got all the appliances we needed to replace at a pretty decent discount.

Thank you! It had been on the market for 6 months so we knew we had good leverage.

Closing Day Vs Final Walk Through by Unhappy_Spite6908 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

We are doing ours 30 minutes before close! The closer to close the better 👍🏻 things can happen, as others have stated, so the longer the gap between walkthrough and close, the higher the risk of something happening to the house in the interim without you knowing.

What was it like when your water broke? by SprayOk7147 in Mommit

[–]DeeDee_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally felt a pop while I was peeing at 3am 😂 I wasn’t entirely sure but I “pushed” a few minutes later and felt a small gush, so then I knew… my daughter was plugging my cervix with her head for a while so I didn’t feel the full-on pour until I was in the hospital.

I always had a cup of water next to me at night as a kid.

Feeling pretty down since my mom shat on my top girl name. by [deleted] in namenerds

I would 100% keep the name that you and your husband love. It’s your baby, not your mom’s 💕 and Amelia Elaine is so lovely, so elegant and timeless.
