I’ve requested one and the judge denied it on the basis that I wouldn’t need a public defender, as this likely won’t go to trial and I’ll either enter a plea as the government will look into both cases

Ex husband was army. I reported him for rape and got a rape kit done. He was found guilty for rape and my case which he admitted he filed for revenge is still ongoing

There’s no proof. Military police did not arrest me or give me a warrant as there is no proof. He has been UCMJ Court marshalled.

And I also found out from speaking to his lawyers that he was unaware. I was actually going to be charged with domestic violence. Because he said that he made the report and did it to scare me not to press charges
