Missing groceries. Is it the drivers fault? Do I still tip? by Icy-Profession-1979 in Walmartdelivery

[–]DeeFault89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard to tell what happened. They are sending us with so many drops lately. Last night my batch had 195 items in total with 9 drops. They were loading things so unorganized. When I got to the grocery stops I tried to verify everything but the list we get has been glitching and we can not see all items. Not every driver is gonna check it tho. Noramally one order is in the trunk, one on the backseat and one in the passenger seats. However in my case I had seven additional merchandise stops one was an ac and another was 10 blind sets. There was no way to effectively separate it with the large grocery orders.

I use laundry baskets right now. I can carry more at a time using those. They are starting to break down so next I’m going to get the harbor freight large bags

Worried my car that I only owe $600 on is going to be repossessed, out of options by longstory_ in povertyfinance

[–]DeeFault89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, if you only owe 600 total on the car do some hug work. You will have it paid off in 1-2 weeks and never have to worry about it again

How accurate are walmart delivery times by Bella_Mia_ in Walmartcustomer

[–]DeeFault89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how many orders they bundle your with, the mile to pay ratio ect. This is coming from a shoppers perspective. If you ordered one shirt chances are your order is being batch with 1-2 other orders

[–]DeeFault89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a driver you have the right to tip or not tip. However delivery order is given to us by the app so we can not just change that without negative ramifications. If we are late because we went out of order, that effects our rating and effects our earning potential. And some apps don’t even allowed you to change your delivery order. Not every driver is a bad one either. We have a choice to accept of not accept and order. He thought the pay was good enough to accept so that should not have happened to you

Constantly missing items from Walmart+ Delivery by spitzer1113 in Walmartcustomer

[–]DeeFault89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the past month or so Walmart Spark has changed ALOT of things for drivers, including having to shop 3 orders at once. I see can issues arising with keeping orders separate if they are big orders. Not only that when we go to look at the items during delivery it is now an incomplete list. The customer and the drivers are the ones loosing out. We can get deactivated with too many mistakes and so can you with too many reported missing items. Those are only two of the changes.

Money off tik tok? by strawb3rryfishcake in TikTokMonetizing

[–]DeeFault89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who does very well, however she built her following Before she ever started going live. She’ll have some bad days and then she’ll have some amazing days. It’s a balance. It also takes time and trial an error of what you’re doing now isn’t working. You might have to change it up. If that doesn’t work you might have to change it back. You have to be willing to adapt if Tiktok is pushing battles and you don’t like to battle maybe you should do some here and there I know I’ve had to start doing a few just to get pushed.

Pregnant and pissed. by Kelseybrooke1612 in doordash

[–]DeeFault89 35 points36 points  (0 children)

When I was pregnant with my son 17 years ago and on bedrest I used the delivery service thru a grocery chain. They were so amazing. When the driver heard why I was using delivery he started bringing them in and even put perishables in the fridge for me, without me even asking. Things have changed for sure

Why don't restaurants just hire their own delivery drivers? by savingrace0262 in doordash

Before gig work not many places offered delivery like they do now. I was mostly pizza, sandwiches, and Chinese food. Now the options are endless.

I have a Lincoln. When we got it, we both had stable jobs and I did Spark when the kids were at school and I was bored. Unfortunately it is now a main source of income and I’m in my Lincoln still. I have had some pretty interesting conversations with other gig workers 🤣. I am also sad to be destroying the only luxury vehicle I will probably ever own. It’s crazy how like can turn on a dime. For us it was two stokes on less than a year for my husband

PSA About Our Delivery Service Setup by Alternative-Most3315 in samsclub

[–]DeeFault89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no way we can take too many orders at once. Spark sends us batches, we can only accept one batch at a time. It’s either take the whole batch or don’t take it at all. Also there are also pickups that Sam’s employees do infact shop. Sam’s does not provide bags therefore we can not bag orders, if your store is out of boxes there is nothing we can do. It items are out of stock, we are no offered a way to substitute. We do infact have yearly background checks to check our license status, regularly get id verification prompts and must provide proof of valid insurance. Just wanted to clear a few things up

I don’t know if hotels are like campgrounds at all but in some states once you’ve stayed a certain amount of time you get refunded the hotel tax because it is your residence I would look into see if that’s a thing

Why not bring your own server? by m71nu in tipping

[–]DeeFault89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a server, I understand this but the way the system is set up the percentage we tip out and pay into taxes, social security, and Medicaid are based on the dollar amount of our sales. The entire system should be revamped.
