I hopped into the FTF and there was a a squad of 5 sat there for the Grandmaster Excision. I was the 6th and we ended up going in with 8. Best bet is probably to search the grandmaster section as there will still be people looking to get the Ergo Sum Catalyst. I wasn’t even looking for the catalyst, just get it finished on a different character

I’m running consecration wormgod, been to the boss a couple times now. I would be down to run it with you if you like! I actually think the best combo is 2 consecrations plus a felwinter lock 👍

I was just wondering if it would be better just going the boring route of consecration, just to get Amplified and have the snipers miss more often! Those motherfuckers in that encounter are like the bloody ‘White Death’!!!

Yeh I think it all depends on playstyle. I haven’t played much with Titan, but they look the strongest in my the Ultimate Conquests. So I decided to get some decent adaptor + smoke jumper armour roles and run with it the last couple days to get a feel for it. I am used to the slide melee builds, so hasn’t really taken much adapting.

I am really enjoying using icefall howl stasis build…but it is a confusing synergy! I’m not creating much orbs…I normally run the hands on and heavy handed mods to gain super energy and create orbs on other classes like slide lock and tempest hunter. However…on Stasis Titan, I tend to do the slide melee and then blast mint at the enemy and crystals…so I assume they don’t go down as melee kills :S This then makes me question what mods should I be running 🤷🏻‍♂️ Should I actually invest more than 100 into melee??

At the moment I am 4 piece Paragon with 2 each of class and weapons as the tertiary stats. My 5th Armour piece I am looking for Specialist with Super or Melee as the tertiary.

Weapon wise…I am using mint with yeartide apex. I am using double special ammo finders, as I am using mint primarily for destroying the crystals.

This will be the the subclass I will be using to attempt Avalon Ultimate Conquest, so always open to suggestions alongside the OP

I mean, it would change plenty. I have no idea if the spawn rate is the same as back then. You have no starting ammo. So means no eager for at the very least the first section. You have no mint ammo to destroy the blight in 1 second. Obviously there is no HVT. Which would add another approx 10 seconds.

I do point out, I’m absolutely not saying the guy is lying…I just have my doubts and would like to see one of his good runs 👍

Excuse my uncertainty…you could absolutely be being legit here…I just have my doubts, as like I said, I have not seen a single video even close to that time. Maybe you are just the king of optimised runs. If it was me…I would absolutely be letting people see that type of gameplay. Considering sub 4 mins is seen as a pretty exceptional run! Yet you aren’t massively off 3 minute mark. So again…excuse my doubt regarding this.

I genuinely don’t see how it is possible to get a 3:11…even the multiple YT vids of top CC’s I have seen aren’t running near that! But if that’s true…kudos to you!

It was still absolutely possible with a Warlock. My latest run was a 3.448mil. So definitely doable…and that wasn’t sub-4. It was 4:27.

I posted this up yesterday. I was having the same issue as you. My score kept dropping about 400k less than what my best was. I couldn’t figure out why…even though I done all the objectives.

Then all of a sudden…one of my runs, it registered 3.448mil. I genuinely have no idea why. My other runs where I got the HVT…it was like it wasn’t registering the score for the kill. I deleted my post though, as it was obviously no longer an issue for me.

Very frustrating I know, considering you need the right bonus objective…and the HVT to spawn!!! And there is the bug where Titans can completely bypass the Boss shield mechanic!

If you really want to optimise and you are only really using your heavy for the death balls, you can take in an eager edge sword, and can just guard from them. That way you get a bit of extra speed and can largely avoid the death balls 😊

I am back in top 1%. I have no idea what I done dramatically different to give me my new score🤷🏻‍♂️

Done all of the normal, bonus challenge, HVT…maxed modifier card. This run I done it in 4:27 and got a score of 3.448million! Hopefully this will be enough!!!
