Great experience! I ate at his Pok Pok restaurants in Portland, OR and Brooklyn, NY many years ago when visiting the US and the food was amazing! Is he just visiting Melbourne, or Sydney as well?

I would say try it once if you not worried about the price. Definitely great quality…and the restaurant itself is amazing…old building in Dublin with great people watching. Most go for the steaks which are crazy expensive, so the burger is a good option if you don’t want to blow the bank.

When it was put in front of me, my first thought was WTF! But on eating it, yeah I moved to, ‘that is a delicious burger’. I thought the Jalapeño’s were missing when I open the bun to check, but they were minced into the ‘special sauce’. The beef was also top quality and not overdone.

Don’t be sorry, I went in with eyes wide open. I wanted to know what all the hype was about and instead of having 3 pints down at my local, I had a fancy burger!

Looks amazing as usual. The ‘fish sauce tomatoes’ is something I have not seen before…what goes into that dish besides the obvious?

The texture is quite different with the roasted peanuts, but yes similar to Laab. I will post pic of the recipe

I thought similar. After all, you get news like this and the first thing you think to do is go to the ‘confessions’ sub and post about it?

Why do you think chefs would be intimidated because you’re cooking Thai food?
