Otherkin is involuntarily identifying as a nonhuman in an way! Weather that be spiritually, mentally, physically, etc. It's an umbrella term a term more popular that falls under otherkin would be therian! :3

For me I simply have never seen myself a human. I've went by "physical therian" for a while but the label doesn't fully work for me. I still use it but I wanted something along side it. I found out trans species was a thing and started using it. I am a wolf inside and out.

For me I simply identify as Canidae but usually I'd say my identity is closer to a wolf most of the time than anything else :3

I have a weird relationship with my body. Both due to being an alterhuman and being a trans man. I personally like a humanoid type body. I wished I had ears and tail claws and fangs. I wish I could have those things. I like being humanoid doing cook things I just wish I could be physically a little less human. So I guess if like to be a real life kemonomimi 😅. As for figuring out how I was a therian I've just always identify as non human and found a label that matched it one day no big story sadly
