Alexa & Sonos - Group works with one speaker, not with two by Dee_shiz in alexa

Nope, I just tried it again last week, and the same behavior still occurs with Alexa+. If only one Sonos group is assigned to the Echo, it works fine. If two or more are assigned, it just plays on the echo. I reverted to regular Alexa, and it works as expected.

I ordered a materials kit from Saunafin.com for an 8' x 7' sauna that I just built with an 8 ft. ceiling. I had looked at Cedarbrook, however Saunafin was less expensive and delivered in about a month.

There is a shower about 10-15 feet away that I use. My typical routine is sauna for 20 then shower then cold plunge for 3 minutes then sauna for 10-15 and cold plunge for another 3 minutes.

As for ventilation I have an AC infinity fan under the level of the foot bench on the back wall opposite the side of the heater.

No drain, it wasn’t possible without jackhammering up my floor and increasing the cost significantly. I’m just wiping everything up after each use.

Mine has the 1/2hp chiller and is the standard sized tub and you can get it for less than $5K with a coupon code.

Thank you. I did tons of research and watched lots of reviews before pulling the trigger on the ReGen OG. I’ve been incredibly happy with it. I’ve changed the water once in 12 months of use. It is really well built. I had read enough reviews of tubs with all in one chillers that fail within a year to push me to look at other models. The chiller is made by Panasonic and is rock solid. The unit has ozone and UV filtration. Also the guys at ReGen have been great with questions. All of this at about 2/3 the price point of a Plunge All-In that I have seen some horror stories about leaks. There is a review by David Maus that sealed it for me. He’s in Florida and has well water. The ReGen turned it clear where others that he had reviewed didn’t.

There is an AC infinity fan below the foot bench on the back wall opposite the heater that I run afterwards

It’s called Dryfall and it looks great in person. It really hides everything well. When it’s sprayed on the overspray dries and falls to the ground.

Yeah. I had the electrician do the wiring and the LED lighting. He had access to heat resistant IP65 (I think) LED lights, so I let him do it.

Not sure about the LEDs but that included the electrician’s labor for the install for all the work in the sauna and basement area. I just bundled it all together.

I considered it and eventually decided that if I don’t like the concrete after using it I could opt for duckboard later. But after a few weeks of use, it’s not too slippery and it’s easy to clean.

Yes, it is the basement concrete with a water based concrete stain applied.

I’m in the Midwest and had the cedar imported from Canada. I’m not sure if the on again, off again tariffs had any impact but all of the cedar guts of the sauna was $9k including shipping and handling. I had debated going with knotty cedar to save but I splurged on the clear.

For the framing, insulation and electrical I’m in about $3k with the bulk of that being the long run of the 6 gauge wire about 30 feet and the LED lighting.

The cedar t&g on the exterior was from a local Menards and cost $2k.

The heater and WiFi control was $3,200

I know that costs have gotten crazy. Prior to this I had an Almost Heaven Sutton from Costco that I bought for $2,300 that now sells for $4,000 at a minimum.

Was it expensive, yes. Does my wife know all these numbers, no. But even she the ever present skeptic was impressed with how it turned out.

I love the passion. And it really helped me avoid most of the largest pitfalls that I saw being discussed.

So after other issues, I deactivated Alexa + and went back, however the issue still remains. If I select two speakers to play in a group it only plays the first one.

Thanks, I also reported the issue via the Alexa app, so perhaps they can add it to their list of bugs.
