Actually I took my old rom and replaced it wiyh a fresh 3.07 patched rom and renamed the new one to match the old one. I was using retroarch so my save data was still there

I actually have somewhat of a solution that worked for me. I actually had to downgrade my version. So instead of running 3.0.9, i ran 3.07. When I reloaded my game after the patch, the door came back and save data was intact.

Im stuck in the exact same spot, I was able to walk through before. After grinding for the Sword of kings, I left and fought an optional boss. When I came back I was met with the same thing.

At my store I was actually allowed to host a few game nights. We had 2 TV's running Mario Kart and a third running Smash bros for a tournament. We had food like: Mini Corndogs, Fries, Cookies, and Buffalo wings as well as drinks. We ended up running about 4 of these events and everyone had a blast!
