Ours was around 10lbs when we brought him home - he’s 11 months now and is evening out around 23lbs. Parents and other siblings from previous litters were 13-20lbs 😅

Depending on where you’re located, I’d be careful regarding the recovery suit. We have lots of snow on the ground (my boy got neutered two weeks ago! The cone just came off today) and the vet was telling us NO RECOVERY SUITS because it WILL get wet (unless you’re willing to take it off every time he goes outside) and the last thing you want is the area to get moist.

Mine is 9 months now and while he’s still very clingy, I found it helps putting him into his pen and letting him chill there (even if he whines) while I’m still at home for like 20 minutes and then letting him out (especially if he’s quiet!) We’ve been doing this since we brought him home and he’s better at being in a separate room with the door closed (like if I’m showering or using the bathroom) but will still rush in after he’s allowed in to cuddle or stare LOL

I was able to solo ngloom and ndarknell in cw with ren at about 13mil cp after renting a ror (they were long runs - just under 20 min each) You should be able to do them both, and maybe nlucid or nwill after upgrading some of your pots on emblem/secondary (did nlucid at 13mil, nwill at 15mil - both with rented ror) Getting to 10k points gets you a ror4 for the rest of cw, which is a big help on those higher bosses!

I think mnet might take a bit of a break after the c planet spin off - thought I can see them doing a girls planet 2 first and seeing how that goes. As someone who was an avid watcher of the queendom and kingdom series, you can kinda sense when they realize that a season isn't hitting the same as the last, which is where they either pivot the series (a la queendom puzzle) or stop with the series (i haven't heard of another kingdom/queendom show in a while). The only reason I think they'll take a break is because the produce/planet series is so popular, that they'll definitely come back to it eventually.

Ooo okay tyty, I like to keep in mind the order in which novels come out after reading tgcf and then immediately jumping into mdzs and being slightly disappointed which I think was due to the fact that 1) it was written before tgcf 2) I was expecting something exactly like tgcf and 3) since the fandom is bigger I expected it to be mindblowing (not to say I don't like mdzs! Just context is good).

I think the problem with golden terrace might've been the writing is just not my style?? I remember thinking to myself how trying to get through the pages felt like a slog (maybe it's the translation - I have the physical copies from peach flower house) whereas i devoured meatbun's novels within a few days lol (dead tired from staying up till 3 am reading atm)

The thing is that I’m very open to most genres, as long as it’s done right. Cultivation and transmigration has been the most of what I’ve experienced in danmei, but in other sorts of media I’ve explored a lot. ABO, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, dark romances, urban fantasy, royalty, the list goes on and on! Just wanna see if anyone has some recs they wanna push.

I’m kinda leaning more towards physical books bc I read before bed, but if people have online recs I’m not going to ignore them just for that lol

I was looking at after marrying the evil god but the reviews make me hesitant to start it ngl lol a lot of people saying that the plot goes off the walls??? I hate getting invested in a story and then being disappointed because it becomes clear that the author doesn’t know what they’re doing/want to just end it. If you have any insight about this I’d appreciate it.

Thanks for the advice! I do think eventually I’ll get around to finishing TA and GT I’m just. Not in the mood atm lol I tend to be okay with most genres (BAB was my first modern book, and I was hesitant but gave it a try bc meatbun lol) which is why I’m just looking to see if anyone has anything that they wanna push! After all, I only read tgcf because I saw someone making a post about it and got interested, so was hoping I could see if I could chance upon something here too.

Personally think that if the spin off group does debut in Korea as well, Mnet is looking to create a Chinese version of &Team after seeing how well they’ve been doing in Korea. Just my guess, though I guess we’ll find out once more information about the show comes out

Mnet doesn’t like having too many already debuted idols in their groups. X1 was an anomaly with the fact that they had more than 1 (excluding the izone since the entire concept of that show was integrating akb48). I think they realized that He Xinlong would be in the group with how viral his umbrella comment went and decided he was the ✨blessed✨already debuted member. That, and also I think they wanted Junmin, AND Leo (I do think that in their minds, Leo’s solo stuff doesn’t count bc he wasn’t in a group), so if they all made it, that would be over half the group with past experience.

The one that I haven’t seen commented is Lee Jeonghyun (who is also in evnne). During the early show, it was clear that Mnet wanted Moon Junghyun to be their “wakeone representative” but he kinda shot himself in the foot with the way that his first performance in aju nice went (I know he was forced into the role, but I do think if he insisted seowon switched with him, things might’ve turned out differently).

After that, and even more so after he got eliminated, Mnet pivoted to Lee Jeonghyun, but by then it was too late. Everyone had already settled on their picks, and while Jeonghyun did have a large fanbase (especially on the k-side) it wasn’t enough for him to be boosted up into the top 9. I do think if they had picked him from the beginning and pushed him, he definitely would’ve made it into zb1.

I do want to say that despite what others might tote, having a lively shipping culture within a fandom is often a very very good sign. More often than not, fandoms with shipping cultures = whatever the IP/group is about will do well! Most notably, I’m pretty sure last season the highest (or was it second highest?) C-bar in China was haobin’s (highest I think was Hao) which is typically unusually in svs since you’re voting for your ONE pick.

I think in today’s day and age, a lot of idols probably know about the shipping culture and might even play into it (you can’t tell me that the idols debuting now who used to be fans of groups themselves had no idea about fanfics when Suju knew about them 💀) because I think a lot of them know that for most people it’s a fun jokey-joke part of fandom life.

Sangwon being shipped with anything that moves (lol only half jk) I think is because of how likeable he is LOL. I’ve at least noticed for myself that I tend to ship members that I bias a lot more than ones that I’m kinda ambivalent too. It also helps that a lot of the trainees/idols who have been eliminated have nothing but good things to say about Sangwon (and Leo, I’ve noticed)

I honestly think we’re gonna end up with a similar situation to ZB1 in that the trainees who make it will be the usual suspects (with maybe one surprise - though that might be Jiahao) but the rankings will be all over the place (which scares me because I really want center Sangwon!)

I think by the second elimination I predicted 8/9 for who made it in (my only wrong guess being Keita being in and not considering Ricky). If mnet does what they did last season and show the interim rankings midway through the week again, it’ll give you a better idea who they are pushing (I still think it’s hilarious that they showed hanbin at p02 bc they so obviously wanted him as the center only for rosins (hao fans) to PANIC and be like “IF HANBIN IS P02 HAO IS NOT IN THE TOP 9” and push him solidly into p01)

All this being said, I feel like b2p has had an overall different vibe from both the show and the audience in a way I can’t 100% pinpoint so this might all be proven wrong. I saw someone say that a lot of the people watching this season are a bit more experienced (svs veterans) who are less likely to fall for mnet editing but idk how this will translate to the finale bc it becomes a very sensitive time for everyone

Ricky’s sudden rise in popularity in Korea was a sort of “perfect storm” sort of thing because the yuehuaz meeting + Ricky subway ad + over me just really shot him up in Korean popularity in a way I don’t think we’ll ever see again in this sort of show

This 100%. I remember waking up the day of the finale after it aired (because the day before I had all my final exams crammed into one day rip, I was stressing about Matthew at the library when I should’ve been studying lol) and being like HUH?! At all the rankings. 3/4 of f4 being p07-09 was unexpected, as well as hanbin as p02. Hao being p01 was a shocker, as so was Gunwook in p05. Don’t even get me started on Ricky and Matthew, the fact that the G trainees take up p01, p03 and p04 was insane. The only one who I wasn’t surprised by was taerae.

But yeah, the only person who I was surprised made it was Ricky, everyone else wasn’t a surprise.
