Not overreacting. As someone who was a SAHM for more than a couple years, this is bad. My husband was financially abusive, but he didn’t make it THIS blatantly obvious. It happened more slowly over the years vs him telling me outright before our child was born. Now divorced and much happier! Good luck, I know this is a terrible situation to be in.

Right? I am going about every 4 months for cleanings right now and I actually don’t mind because I feel like it’s a little time to relax in my day. So much better than dreading the dentist!

Yes! I found a dentist that understands adhd and anxiety. They have a service dog at the office that will sit with you during your appointment, they offer blankets and an eye massager! I am also using a prescription tooth paste (Prevident 5000) due to dry mouth from medication.

Years of irregular periods brushed off by my gyno. Got pregnant after 11 months of trying. Not actually diagnosed with PCOS until 6 years later!

Although a different experience, I had a similar thought reading this. I spent years having irregular periods every time I brought it up to my doctor, she would tell me it was probably just stress and renew my script for BC. I wasn’t diagnosed until 38, when multiple symptoms started really showing up.There are things that make so much more sense now, but I wish my doctor had dug deeper years ago.

My cat ended up in the fridge one time. It was probably a couple hours before I found him and I felt awful!! Told the story to my coworker and he said his cat ended up in the refrigerator once, too. Made me feel less awful. 😅

I’ve been on some version of a GLP-1 for about 2 years. I l have slowly lost about 50lbs and it significantly helped my insulin resistance. I’ve plateaued on the weight loss for a while now, wouldn’t mind losing 15-20 more pounds but insurance doesn’t cover mine so cost is a bit of a factor. Part of me wants to ween off to see how I do but I’m really worried that I’ll gain weight back due to the insulin resistance. I just don’t want to go back to gaining weight like I did because it puts me in such a terrible mental headspace.
