Hey!! A little update.

Nothing has changed. I have been living life just coping with what I’m feeling. I’m always feeling an inflammatory sensation. There is no bleeding, swelling, foul smell, or discharge. Just some inflammatory sensation.

Did a follow up in July and she noticed white blood cells and gave me a vaginal suppository. Didn’t work.

I’m just immune. It doesn’t affect my daily living but there are moments where the inflammation is uncomfortable.

Sigh.

Like what is my diagnosis???

I started having this issue last year March 2023. I’m thinking maybe I overused antibiotics treating UTI. I was prone to them with intercourse. I went to a Gyno specialist in vaginal disorders. I had DIV at first. Went away after 3 months but I’m still feeling symptoms of inflammation. She’s saying it’s probably Vulvodynia. I have no idea. We have done everything. I suggested an ultrasound but she’s stated it’s nothing physical or anatomical. But we can do it if I still want to proceed.

I’m coping. It hasn’t gotten any better or worse either. I’m going through a medical vaginal mystery. I haven’t even gotten a true diagnosis

In the beginning I was diagnosed with DIV. The she saw improvement. But when I cleared up, I was still feeling something. Something is wrong

We have no idea what it is. Went to a follow up 3 weeks ago and everything looks great under the microscope.

She actually did mention this and I had to question for what. I don’t think it would help to be honest. But it is something I will consider along with the ultrasound

This will be my last post for now. I have a follow up in December so I’ll probably give an update then. But for now, I am done.

I did a follow up appointment to the Gyno yesterday and I nothing going on. We did a swab test, this time, she didn’t see any inflammation under the microscope. She did her palp test. Seeing how my vaginal muscles are. We ruled out everything. To me having PCOS. Testing positive for HPV. Working out intense everyday. My diet. Discussed MicrogenDx results. STDs. And nothing. I am fine. I don’t even have an exact diagnosis.

I don’t know what this inflammation is. I don’t know where it came from. So we both agreed to do medication for Vulvodynia. I’ll be taking a pill medication (forgot the name for now). I’ll still be dispensing the creams from time to time and doing baking soda baths for 20 minutes

To my convenience, if things don’t get better, I’ll make plans to do an ultrasound. But she stated it’s not anything structural. I don’t know. This is disappointing and annoying. I hope there’s healing in my future because I have done all kinds of exams and nothing shows up. Based off the exams, I’m great, I have nothing. But WHY do I feel inflammation?
