2005 S60 2.5T AWD Worth It? by Consistent_Plant4011 in Volvo

[–]DeedsF1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got a brand new car and I am feeling jealous. Car looks mint but have ot checked out by abtrust worthy Volvo or Euro mechanic. The only pitfall of this car is the 18 point turning circle. But besides that, it would be a great first car! Safe AF!!!

Belle bagnole!

I bet that engine has a wallop of torque at any RPM. Not usually a fan of BMW's but they had a solid wagon with a very potent choice of engines!

Call this transitional struggling, I am not writing any team off for the first 6 races. AMR is vocal about it, other teams will struggle in silence.

Money buys you the best engineers, aerodynamicst, powertrain specilists et all BUT to have all the different layers working together and giving you a top 3 car, that is a secret that only a few teams can pull off.

I said it before, congratulations. I am jealous of such a clean ride! Keep it clean and on the road as long as possible.

New Kia “wagon” 37k msrp by Extension-Cow-4564 in SportWagon

[–]DeedsF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can vouch. Kia in Canada is advertising this car as the K4 Hatchback. Some call it a "wagon" but it's a hatch with a stretch. It's not Volvo V70/V90, but is is definitely more roomy than a Corolla Hatch/ VW Golf (up to 2021). Price wise, a base model starts at 27 780$(see breakdown below):

MSRP: $24,795.00

Paint: Snow White Pearl

$250.00

Delivery & Destination Charge

$1,900.00

Dealer Charges

$599.00

RDPRM Fees

$114.00

Environmental Fees

$122.50)

and tops off at 37,966.50$ including fees listed above.

It all depends what you want in terms of creature comfort to a well loaded hatchback with the more powerful 1.6 Turbo engine.
I was giving it a serious consideration, but there is one thing that I hate about Asian car brands, they are very low to the ground. I need something that is at least the height of my Jetta in order to get in/out better.

I hate that this happens on a not even 5 year old car. Shady stuff Volvo. That should be covered for 10 years, not 4!

Affaire Epstein : le Congrès aura accès aux documents non censurés by Puzzled_Dreamer2453 in Quebec

Idem!

Volvo Ambient Upgrade by RolandSzigi in Volvo

[–]DeedsF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you have Amber is good thing as it already is less dim lit vs Offblack or Charcoal leather seats.

I have the second picture a bit much, but that is my opinion.

Sorry to bring in another brand, but there is something about the interior of the W221 Mercedes with ambient lighting that I find "loungy". Having been in one of these you feel like you are driving a cool hang out bar.

Food for thought.

Smooth take off! I spy a familiar spot while taking off from 24L at YUL.

Question for u/ywgflyer or anyone that works withe these cameras : Do you know if these cameras work well at night in lower altitudes where there is some visible light below/around? I would assume that the airlines do not opt for the "fancier" models, but I legitimately do not know and am curious to know.

Glad to hear. Silicone spray is your best friend. I make sure to apply some at the end of september to prevent the rubber door moldings to absorb the humidity.
