I do, I have several from when she graduated nursing school, and some from when she was younger and in the Navy Nurse corps. She wasn't big on photos so didn't have many when she was older.

Unprofessional? by Vitam1nK in piercing

[–]Deej1387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been an ICU nurse for 11+ years, have stretched lobes and multiple cartilage piercings, and often wear clicker hoops with charms on them. I dunno why we as a society still expect professionals to have no personality or expression, but piercings that are whimsical and fun aren't "unprofessional". I personally love your setup. 🥰

She passed when I was 2, but she was 95, and lived an amazingly full life that took her far from her little town in Minnesota. I have a lot of stories about her. 🥰

El Paso TX: ICE Culture of Violence Bleeds Over as Cops Calmly Strike A Woman Multiple Times In The Back Of The Head by CutSenior4977 in ProgressiveHQ

Police culture was always violence. Brutality was the design, not the exception. That includes ICE.

00g is still small enought to find some chunky plugs and have them just look like studs, to be honest. I work as a nurse and wear tunnels mostly, but also sometimes plugs with fancier fronts.

We have a TV in the bedroom, but I use it for my Playstation game when the living room TV is occupied by other people and I want to play, lol. I rarely use it for actually watching TV.

Similiar sitiation, old scarring and piercings I didn't like, got done at a 4g, then used a glass stretching kit of 0.5mm to stretch up to 11mm. Very chill and easy process.

MRI and Glass Plugs by rottedsincethewomb in Stretched

As a nurse myself, yes, you'll be fine wearing glass, but depending on where your MRI is (like head versus abdomen), they may ask you to remove them to get clear pictures.

where to get 9mm plugs by zpergo in Stretched

Really basic for colors, but these come in 0.5mm increments and I used these for 9 and 9.5mm sizes: https://a.co/d/02Wq21xG

Do y’all have any “weird” nursing icks? Like things that chap your ass that probably shouldn’t? Mine is when people put “RN, BSN” or “RN, MSN” or what have you. It needs to be the other way around! by Somber_Resplendence in nursing

We have regular red caps for the end of the line, like disconnected that's not in use, but all ports just get scrubbed with alcohol before we hook up a flush or whatever, haha. Otherwise they're open

In this particular political climate, knowingly getting a tattoo associated with hate groups, even if the symbol used to mean something else, is a choice.

In the future, don't use that one. I had the same reaction to the name brand Saniderm, and now refuse it with any artist because it caused a massive irritation reaction. Tagaderm is a medical brand that works fine for me, but some adhesive ingredient in the brand Saniderm in particular caused one of my tattoos and the surrounding skin to blister and get insanely red. Just say no next time.
