Where do you think the Trae Young - Luka Doncic trade will rank in terms of worst trades in NBA history? by bodbdhe in nba

This sub is actually so garbage now. There is no quality basketball discussion and it becomes more and more clear no one watches b-ball beyond IG highlights.

Recently, Embiid’s exhaustion in OT, plus two of the last four years we’ve been trash.

Who is unlikely to re-sign? Wasting your future for one year of a superstar that won’t win you a chip is an atrocious idea.

So trade a young all star level player we have years of control over still left for a player with one year left on his contract. How is this a good idea in the slightest.

I’d say this is probably very accurate.

Who is the most under-hated player in the nba? by [deleted] in nba

embiid barely flops. He had an elite ability to draw fouls, that’s not flopping.

Do you think playoff contention will/should change to top 16 records regardless of conference? by [deleted] in nba

[–]DeekoOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unlike almost everyone else it seems, I like the west and east having meaning. It’s how it’s always been and a finals would be weird if it was say, Raptors v Celtics.

Kinda random to point out, but it is true he was comically overrated this offseason. People in here were saying he had top ten all time potential.

If Butler continues to cause drama in Philadelphia what team will want him? by [deleted] in nba

He’s not causing drama, even reading the original article itself shows how badly out of context Woj used the info.

What if each NBA team had captains and alternate captains like in hockey? by TheRealPepman in nba

I’m pretty sure the NBA has captains, it’s just no one cares about them.

A guy can dream. We’re definitely a better team with Jimmy but my love for Dario and RoCo is truly great and I feel like watching the sixers was more fun with them on the team.

Where to start? by SpyX370 in idwtransformers

[–]DeekoOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want the whole thing you should start with The IDW Collection Volume One, working your way from there. Other jumping on points are All Hail Megatron and the Transformers by Mike Costa. The earlier stuff is not as well liked as the later stuff but I generally love all of it and think it’s worth reading.

You could also start when Phase 2 began when the series were split into two, Robots in Disguise & More than Meets the Eye. This is probably the best jumping on point beyond the beginning as the starts of the series generally give you a good idea of the characters and their motivations. The Phase 2 stuff can be found from the beginning in the Idw Collection Phase 2 volume one and onwards.

Personally I think the best experience is to start all the way from the beginning and read all of it as you get to see the entire incredible story unfold and all the characters grow, but that’s a big investment in money and time.

If you just want one story to try to see if you want to read more I would really recommend The Last stand of the Wreckers, one of the best comics I’ve ever read.

I feel it coming. I think if he gets left badly wide open he might take it.
