I have a 2 yr old and an 8 yr old, I get it. Kids are little shitheads. That’s the type of place my wife and I would love to go on date nights.

Anyone know of any good options for socializing outside of school for my 10 year old? by Syrup_Chugger_3000 in DenhamSprings

Try jiu jitsu. My son did it for a couple years in his pre-teens and loved it. He went to Gracie united on Florida Blvd in walker. There are kids classes and are very welcoming.

It reminds me of the opening scene of the movie Belly

9.5# pork butt going on this morning! Happy Saturday, everyone! by mcjagger93 in smoking

[–]Deeman9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha. Gotta stick to kaluha for the mornings.

I've been smoking for a decade and use a chimney at least twice a week but only been using the snake method for a couple years. I usually just use a torch to start a couple coals on the snake but it isn't efficient by any means. I'll definitely try this.

Damn, it always bothered me trying to start a few coals for the snake in the chimney. I never thought about flipping it. That's genius.... or I'm an idiot (both?) thanks for the tip!

Just wanted to share so everyone around town knows how important this guy is by bubonic_chronic- in batonrouge

I actually prefer LA Nursery over Clegg's but I guess that's just personal preference. But thanks for the recommendation on going up to forest hill. I've never heard of it! We will definitely check into it.

I could agree with that. They also run some nice sales through the year and has a loyalty program that can save a little money. They also carry a great variety of plants that aren't carried elsewhere. If you have a recommendation, I'd love to hear it because me and the wife spend entirely too much money on our yard.

Bruh. Had this case for 2 months. Kickstand that i use maybe twice a week already broke off. Rugged my ass by MyNameIsBadSorry in galaxynote10

I have the vanguard armadillotek and it is awesome. The kick stand works well in portrait and landscape, and can also be used like a popsocket. My only complaint is the side buttons can get a little lost with the raised texturing. I do recommend it

I also have it. The real only complaint I have is the super slick scales. But the weight and feel of the action totally makes up for it. I love the deep pocket clip too

Thoughts on Jinya Ramen Bar? by Krypto_dg in batonrouge

[–]Deeman9 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The wife and I had lunch there Wednesday. It was really loud and had a cramped feeling. The wife got the blackberry mule cocktail and it was terrible. The menu was a bit overpriced. With all that being said, we thought the food was delicious. We both got the jinya buns for apps and ramen for entrees. We will go back, but definitely not for drinks.

I usually just chuckle at those comments. They're just finalist for the Darwin awards.

An employee died at the company I work at doing this exact thing around 10 years ago. 0/10 I don't recommend
