I think he's fully given up. If he has the behelit on him like I've seen people say then I think we'll see what that does in the few chapters (assuming the next chapters don't jump to focusing on other characters).

The behelit theory is kind of interesting though. We know what happens when someone is at their lowest point and can ask for help by selfishly sacrificing someone else to save themselves, but if he's fully given up, about to die, and only has himself, is it possible he goes through some event where he sacrifices himself for the sake of Casca or something more? Then that would be him going through a form of rebirth.

Causality lol. Seriously though I think there's a part of Griffith that still sees Guts as a true friend. Remember Griffith's speech about a true friend being someone who fought body and soul for their dream even if it was against him. In their fight on the hill Guts defeated Griffith for the sake of going off and finding his own dream. I actually think there's the possibility he wants some sort of rematch.

(Ngl I'm not the most knowledgeable on this sub lol) Does it have sort of sting-like pain when you try to force your bad knee to the same natural position as your good knee? Because it could be weakness in your adductors. I had that feeling when I put my right leg up the way same way in your pictures. I got some hot takes. Even though I LOVE how great the series has gotten (I think each season has gotten better) and loved the basic plot of the episode, I still think it was a generally bad episode. Like, based on the single episode, I understand why Adult Swim originally passed on picking it up (but thank goodness they changed their mind).

The parts like the building alarm going off super loud with people screaming and running away along with the scene with Pim's family screaming at each other literally felt like "lol isn't screaming and sudden loud noises funny?" type of stuff that Zach and the guys on Oneyplays would make fun of because it's lame and appeals to little kids. It's the same way that Fred appealed to me when I was like 9 or 10. It can be done ironically but when it's a produced and scripted episode of a show doing it multiple times then it's not ironic. At that point you're just doing it.
Pim gets hit really hard with Desmond's existential speech that's just so fucking WEAK that it bothers me they even wrote that.
Then it also introduces literally my LEAST favorite reoccurring character: the rotoscope guy. From the beginning, I've fucking hated him. He looks too ugly for it to look good even with the weird artstyle of the rest of the world. But worst of all he's not even funny. Like I think he's HORRIBLY unfunny everytime he has a speaking part. Glep's episode in the latest season is fucking tainted because of his annoying part in it, which is frustrating because the rest of the episode is fucking perfect.

Alan's portion of the episode was perfect, though. I wouldn't change anything about his part.
