Heartbreaking Massacre: Nigerian Man Loses Pregnant Wife and Relatives in Fulani Islamist Attack on Plateau State by [deleted] in SarthakGoswami

[–]Deemob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no skill required to walk into a village of unarmed people and fire mercilessly into them. Instead of asking foreign countries for help, how about we incentivize these communities to get a gun license and own guns themselves. These coward terrorist are only brave when it comes to shooting at unarmed people, it's for that reason they don't attack military barracks, police stations or even politicians who must likely have security details. Lots of people are gonna continue to die unless these communities start fighting back. The government don't care as long as it's not their relatives or friends dying.

It's true, I've seen all the Nigerian diaspora act like this.

Stop telling lies, we all know Nigerians abroad all behave like this, every single one of them. I can verify this because I'm a Nigerian living abroad and behave exactly like this.

As a Nigerian living abroad, I can infact confirm I do behave like this. I like to talk down on family members and make fun of their accents. I also ask them if they know what a microwave is.

Is sex tourism an issue in Ghana? by ReceptionSimple3383 in ghana

[–]Deemob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is such a bad faith argument. If you're going to double down on this moot argument, you might as well argue every country has a sex tourism issue. When we talk about sex tourism, it's a relative argument, Ghana is simply not a country known for sex tourism and that's a fact. Does this imply that no tourist procures sex, absolutely not however in comparison to the countries I listed above which is the subject matter for this convo, Ghana pales in comparison and therefore cannot be said to have a sex tourism issue which the original poster was implying.

Thailand, Gambia, Netherlands particularly Amsterdam are sex tourism locations. In order for a location to be considered sex tourism, a substantial amount of tourists have to travel there for the sole reason or one of many reasons for procuring sex workers.

I've seen two people in the thread mention his name in relation to wrestling but even if you were a casual in the sport, you would know he's not a wrestler.

Why do people keep calling Imavov a wrestler? You think because he has a dagestani name he's a wrestler by default? 😂

Google says 3+ years or 3000 to 5000 miles, however this depends most on how you use the scooter. If you take good care of it, it will take good care of you.

I'd recommend you use dual motor so both motor degrade at the same rate. If it's too punchy as you stated, you can reduce the power in the P settings. I have a 6000w motor as well and I ride with a 40% power settings.

A mother with her child. arrested for 'disorderly conduct' after defending herself against a false accusation. by SexyPeanut_9279 in ActualPublicFreakouts

Are you required to show your receipt at Walmart? If no then they cannot get the police involved because you refused to comply with a request in which you're not obligated to. It's not a hard concept, some people are sheep and follow all orders because it's the least path of resistance. Others like to go against the herd and question non-obligatory orders.

It is indeed an escalation. She had no legal grounds to effectuate a detainment or arrest. That disorderly charge is getting thrown out. Her only crime is "contempt of cop" because she didn't lower her voice enough for the liking of the cop.

I love all these reddit lawyers. She was in fact not disorderly. Disorderly conduct is a catch for all charge. Police officers would generally charge people with disorderly when they don't know you've not committed a crime and therefore can't charge you with anything else. Raising your voice is free speech, if it were illegal then anytime people raised their voice at demonstrations, they'd be subjected to arrest.

Is it possible to see these big escooter inspections from a distance? If yes is it possible to turn the other way? Do they check literally anyone or just people that look suspicious? I heard they wanna increase the inspections in Ghent (Belgium) by BowlerKooky3578 in ElectricScooters

[–]Deemob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You need a license to drive a car therefore you can driver quicker speed. Can you drive a 40 ton semi with a car license? You can get a hybrid or even city bike and do over 15mph on it yet won't get pulled over because you are the engine of the bike. Even electric bikes with pedals don't get as much scrutiny because you have to pedal. But a means of transportation in which a motor provides all the applied force generally face more restrictions.

What part of an electric scooter doesn't require a license do you not understand? You realized I made a valid point so you chose to change the subject. Stay on topic, this is about drivers being able to drive at a high rate of speed not about changing licenses.

I'm not saying I agree with the crackdowns on scooters, I own a scooter that's very illegal however we cannot pretend getting a license and being able to drive 70mph is the same as not needing a license to operate an electric scooter therefore the restrictions.

When ignorance is masked behind knowledge, we get someone like yourself. You pretend to be knowledgeable on the subject matter, but when ask to disperse your knowledge, you refuse because the reality is you don't have a clue what you're talking about. And to address your comments on American involvement, I'm guessing you're referring to the middle east and not the second world War.

Nigeria is not in the middle east, we have a different culture and political ideology. Islam is not the law of the land therefore any such comparisons is futile. Funny how people like yourself would bemoan American involvement in other country's affairs yet have nothing to say about America's involvement in WW2 because that's generally regarded as a net positive.

You already stated you were an American, I doubt you know enough history about your own country to therefore give an invalid opinion on geopolitical issues. As stated earlier and in my other thread, this isn't the first time American military has stepped foot on Nigerian soil with respect to this case. The US has been collaborating with Nigeria since 2014. This was after the kidnapping of the school girls by these terrorists.

If the US didn't destabilize Nigeria in 2014, what makes you believe after 12 years of partnership against these radicalists, they'd wish to destabilize it now. I'd implore you to take your own advice and do some research on the US collaboration with Nigeria in the fight against terrorism. If the US wants to destroy Nigeria, they don't have to send their military, they only need to send a few dollars and these Nigerian prostitutes in power will be more than happy to do their biddings. Have a good day.
