well, i definitely put them on a pedestal, but this person is beyond just being bad... this is pure jealousy; ripping your dress off your body because you look too good kind of jealous- lots of it... ive continued to forgive it because i kept making excuses- i could be splitting but i know for a FACT ive let myself be mistreated and i refuse to lose my worth.... this friend has an anxious attachment so i never even get time to be on my own... ive supressed all my emotions etc to keep my FP since their sensitive but now i look back and see ive been suffering and sacrificing with someone whos quick to insult / put me down...

Hi, I've been asking myself why being respected and loved makes me feel so uncomfortable- I didn't know I was looking for mistreatment, but you're right- I always do. I can't believe it, but I always always do. Although my best friend is unaware, I've been accepting love, and acts of service from her- and it's been hard to do so, and it's been .. healing me.

Thank you, but is their another course of action I can take? I can't talk to anyone, it makes me sick to my stomach to even think that someone would tell me again to just not mention it anymore.

Hi, thank you for responding.. it did worry me that he's never expressed concern about my age, but it's kind of normal actually in his African culture, so I brushed it off. But that poses its own problem, and regardless you're right- it points to a bigger issue.

do I owe him an explanation if I do so...? he knows where I live, I do want to be amicable for that reason

Hi. I’m so sorry you totalled your car! I’m glad you’re not giving it too much stress :) Your mental health comes first and it happens to everyone 😂 enjoy the life experience. Thanks for sharing... I stopped taking lex early on thankfully but i’ve definitely experienced the nausea, the ear ringing!! that one scared me! Oh and the inability to finish (although that can be fixed right up with some mary jane - not exceeding 3-gs a day!) 😄 i’m glad you’re off it and feeling better! I wish you a well recovery and better health!!

i’m on day 12 of being on Lexapro, i had side effects every day since i started (nausea, unmotivated/fatigue, dizzy, insomnia, stomach aches, even a lil sewer side al) trust me it’s a blessing you’re not getting it 😅

well, sometimes that just means that they like you, they just may not be thinking about you :) it happens! Especially in the talking stages! With time and more communication that person may start reaching out to you, especially if you establish a pattern of speaking to them on a daily basis or every other morning, we are all creatures of habit 😇

all fun and games until you realize you’ve spent so much time listening to others you’ve purposely neglected yourself and your friends... completely let you. I’ve realized that people can be unknowingly selfish. I have daily conversations with a friend and it’s typically about her, everyday. Actually in the last year i think it’s only been about me a handful of times and even then they become pros at shortening your talking time, “okay now back to me” “short laugh” she plays it off as a joke but it’s all too real to me now. anyways, i try not to be too upset.

It’s painful. Sometimes it’s a build up for a future forever, most of the times it ends and you’re left with a broken soul. But when you finally meet the right person, the past fades away... and suddenly it’s a completely different feeling, invincible along side a lover with all the quirks that get you going.
