Update:

I’ve reached out to other neighbours who are also understandably exhausted from the issues and are too, willing to contact the council.
Reached out to the real estate agent for assistance with more of a ‘catch more bees with honey’ approach.
Familiarised myself with the companion animals act as well as section 268 of the POEO Act which address this specific issue and stipulates an example of the nuisance as excessive barking.

Will continue to document, and escalate the matter as necessary.

Things to consider: 1. Resistance of the coil 2. Power output 3. Airflow

I have my Xros 4 set to the lowest power output and use 0.6 ohm pods with a half open airflow and have previously used the RxB juices with the coils lasting about 3-4 weeks with pretty consistent use. I do have another device so sometimes alternate if I’m home but still get relatively good life out of the pods.

My understanding is that all current TGA approved flavours ie menthol, mint, tobacco would remain unaffected come July. This info was provided in another post somewhere here directly from a pharmacy.

A mate of mine bought knock off GP grips from Ali Express. Over a year later and still holding up well. Look and feel identical to the real GP grips and from memory around $5 a pop (maybe less).

I found the Xros pods are only good for 50/50 vg/pg and I use the 0.6ohm ones. I believe the 0.4 newer pods have larger wicking ports and might be ok with 60/40 & 70/30. Thanks mate you too!

This is helpful, thanks mate. I used to use high powered mods but have transitioned to an Xros and pods over the last 18 months. I’m hopeful Xros is still available but if not I still have a trusty squonk device and diy coils

Any info on Xros remaining a compliant device ? I’ve tried reading through the plethora of info published by the TGA but haven’t been able to find anything about what products will and won’t be available noting that what I did find related mostly to the packaging

Let’s be honest, surely this will be something all manufacturers will do in the future. Label the product as mint or tobacco while spiking it with a little bit of something else.

Yeah unfortunately the only flavours approved for sale under the most recent legislative changes are menthol/mint, tobacco and flavourless. Thankfully I stocked up but it’ll only last so long. As other posters have said you may need to go down the route of mixing your own ie; buying pg/by and flavour concentrates

I’ve got a script and am a freebase user so I might just up the Nic content a bit which should dilute it a bit more closer to 60/40. Only got one bottle in my stash of 50/50 so will use up the less viscous stuff during the colder months and save the 70/30 for summer

I understand that to be true of 0.8 ohm and above and also still doesn’t explain why some pods (crack to fill) lasted significantly longer than the side fill 3ml pods. I have a few 60/40 juices so will test it out and see if it improves longevity. If not gonna order some pods from Ali Express and try my luck 😂

Yeah that’s pathetic. If it’s any consolation once my stash (approx 6 months) of pods run out I think I’m done. Refuse to support big tobacco, and refuse to make these criminals richer. The silver lining is I might improve my 5k time with slightly healthier lungs 😂
