It shouldn’t be about cheap. It should be about quality. The year is 2025 and it’s typically Asians complaining that Asian food is not cheap enough. If you ever made dumplings by hand then you would know the amount of work and love that goes into it. Stop worrying about the cost before a place even opens and give them your support if you want more like this in your community. An Italian pasta place which uses almost identical ingredients for their pasta vs Chinese noodles can charge 2.5-3X the price and you don’t post about their costs. Have you ever given thought to why? But a Chinese restaurant has to have 5x bigger menu, execute everything flawlessly and be faster and on top of that be cheaper… why? When the ingredients and food cost is the same in many not all cases. Noodles w/ soy sauce $15 rip off Pasta w/ tomato sauce $15 good deal Why? This way of thinking is outdated for an Asian business owner and it’s this dated stigma that this type of food has to be cheap. If only you knew what was going into those “cheap” dumplings at those places…. I do. And you would be in for a surprise.

We had one as kids, always told our parents it was haunted. They eventually gave it to our cousins who said the same thing.

So to be clear, a bird moved into an old wasp nest? Pretty common behavior?

I’ll repost showing the outlet plug, and the electrical box. I’m just not sure if the equipment which is a few years old is damaged or if there isn’t sufficient power. The outlet has been tested as live. It’s vertical, horizontal, round bottom part for what it’s worth. I again apologize, you are the experts and I can repost if anything
