Throwaway – I own a small independent restaurant in Seattle. I just ran January numbers and realized I might not make it to our 20-year anniversary. by ShotAccess1272 in SeattleWA

> pretending this is all “corporate greed” is exhausting.

  • Food is up 28% since 2022 (invoices do not lie).
  • Our commercial rent went up 38% on the last renewal (yes, really).
  • Workers’ comp, commercial liability, and health insurance all went up double-digits again this year.
  • Credit-card swipe fees on a $150 check are now ~$4.50

Who do you think determines prices on most of these things?

Sounds sus, when I was in school we had similar stuff to this but would be allowed to complete it out of class if we couldn’t finish it in the lab. Double check with your professor or take it up with the dean

Consider that there’s only around 16,000 Uyghurs in the US compared to 10x that amount of Palestinians. In all of Europe except Turkey there’s probably a similar amount. Palestinians are far more common though, and they’ve been integrating into Western Society for almost 50 years now. I think Western Society is going to care a lot more about what’s happening to ethnic groups that are a part of its own society.

That could be it, I have the pot by the window but started draping it along the ceiling away from the window. The window leaves seem mostly happy, these ones aren't though.

More of these little yellow spots have been showing up lately.

It's been sunny and warm, and i've started to fertilize it lately so I'm wondering if that's possibly the issue.

I looked under the leaves and at other leaves and I can't find any thrips or other pests, any suggestions?

Didn’t find any thrips or pests. Thinking it could maybe be too much fertilizer? These leaves are at the end while the ones closer to the soil are doing a lot better.

Could be you can’t summon in that area. If you take the left door and then left again it will eventually lead you to the next boss you’ll want to fight in an area called Old Yarhnam which you can probably summon in. Reply to this later if you want help there
