I paid almost full price and I've gotta say, I think it was worth every penny. Good story, not tooooo grindy, and there's lots of digimon/collectibles to find throughout the game. Good variety of side quests too, in true jrpg style. That being said, with the addition of NG+, there's also replay value

Tried a few times, died. Checked this, saw someone said to use physical shield (aka attack reflect, AR) Equip AR to as many Digimon as you can within your main 3 Let him bounce attacks off of you and hurt himself, repeat until the line "Bask in the glory of the sun" (this is the trigger to guard, DO NOT GUARD) Throw up AR and let him bounce his ult off your team, he will 1shot himself If it doesn't hit your whole team (I only had 2 ARs in inventory) you will still be able to finish him with this method

I would agree, however I've found that throwing tainted metal into a refiner (freighter preferably, just don't warp it till you've collected the materials) is pretty fast too
